Revision Buddies was founded by app developer George Webb who was keen to combine his passion for education and technology. Reaching over 1,000,000 students, the company has been committed to boosting GCSE candidates’ grades since 2012.
Revision Buddies began its journey with a self-assessment tool which can be found on the company’s website and IOS and Android mobile apps. Here, users can access thousands of revision quizzes, explanations and past papers which cover 10 subjects and 4 exam boards. Whether candidates are studying higher or lower tier, double award or triple award, students can select courses according to their requirements.
Over time, Revision Buddies has taken its EdTech company one step further with the introduction of interactive lessons. Dedicated teachers and examiners have carefully devised syllabus specific learning materials that ensure users have access to key information, whilst also testing them at the same time through engaging challenges which are interwoven throughout the presentations.
The extremely accessible format has been applauded by youths who enjoy revising via a medium they are comfortable with, whether it’s a smartphone, tablet, laptop, computer or smartboard. The streamline processes also ensure that users can seamlessly continue their course from any device!
