Meet Badr Ward, CEO And Founder Of Education Platform: Lamsa

Tell us about Lamsa

Lamsa is a pioneering digital education platform that connects ministries, educators, children, and parents to ensure high-quality, measurable learning outcomes. Our mission is to redefine early childhood education by integrating cutting-edge technology, personalised learning, and AI-driven tools. By streamlining administrative tasks, we give teachers more time to focus on students, making learning more engaging, inclusive, and effective.

Unlike fragmented solutions, Lamsa takes a holistic approach, aligning national education strategies with economic priorities to build future-ready learners.

What do you think makes this company unique?

Lamsa is not just another EdTech platform—it’s a Unified Education Framework (UEF) designed to align national education policies with real-world impact. Where others tackle individual challenges, we provide a comprehensive, scalable ecosystem that connects governments, school leaders, teachers, and parents under one seamless system.

Through Lamsa LEARN, Lamsa STUDIO, and Lamsa KIDS, we integrate AI-powered assessment tools, gamified learning experiences, and data-driven insights, ensuring education is personalized, measurable, and engaging.

With over 20 million children impacted and a vision to reach 2 billion learners globally, Lamsa is on a mission to make high-quality education a universal right, not a privilege.

What is your advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?

Aspiring entrepreneurs often dream of groundbreaking innovations and overnight success. However, the reality is that building a successful business requires dedication, resilience, and a strategic approach. My first piece of advice would be to focus on solving a real problem. Don’t just chase a trendy idea; identify a genuine need in the market and create a solution that truly benefits people. This foundational principle will give your business purpose and drive its growth.

What most excites you about Lamsa?

Education should be a right, not a privilege, yet millions of children worldwide lack access to quality learning. That’s what drives me—removing barriers and creating opportunities for every child, regardless of background.

Beyond students, I’m equally passionate about supporting teachers, who are often overburdened and undervalued. Lamsa not only empowers educators with better tools but also reduces their workload, so they can focus on what matters most—teaching, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation.

How has Lamsa evolved over the last couple of years?

Lamsa has undergone a remarkable evolution, from an educational app to a comprehensive early learning ecosystem that governments and educators trust. Our Unified Education Framework (UEF)—a data-driven model that aligns curriculum, assessment, and policy—has positioned us as a leader in education transformation.

We’ve expanded to serve our learners worldwide, deepened our engagement with ministries of education, and launched AI-powered platforms like Lamsa Studio, enabling teachers to create game-based assessments in under a minute. These innovations reinforce our vision: ensuring every child, regardless of location, has access to the best learning experience possible.

What can we hope to see from Lamsa in the future?

Lamsa’s success in the MENA region has set the stage for global expansion. The need for accessible, high-quality education is universal, and our model is designed to scale.

Moving forward, we’re focusing on:

Stronger integration with national education systems for a more connected learning ecosystem.

Strategic partnerships with governments to drive systemic education reform.

AI-powered teacher support tools to enhance classroom experiences and learning outcomes.

As education continues to evolve, Lamsa will remain at the forefront—empowering teachers, engaging learners, and shaping the future of education.
