Online bookmaker, Dickie Bet, is relaunching its popular website in time for the world cup this summer in Russia. The website that traded as an odds comparison has relaunched with a new fresh look and partners to soak up the excitement of the world cup.
The Camden-based start up has a team of content writers, sports fanatics and tech experts who are working round the clock to get the site ready in time.
One of the sites founders explained:
The site was founded by passionate sports fan and with the upcoming competition, we thought it was a great opportunity to bring it back. There is something magical about the world cup and with the UK filled with so many interesting cultures, we become really interested in all fixtures, not just England’s.
The world cup dominates the press, the water cooler at work and social media and we are happy to offer the most flexible and enhanced odds online.
Who are your tips for this world cup?
Dickie Bet explained already that there has been a lot of interest in France. Not only did they reach the final of Euro 2016 but the depth in their squad is absolutely huge. Their bench is incredibly strong and even the players that didn’t make the squad could easily play in England’s starting line up.
There has also been interest in Belgium who have a number of great names in their squad and the very on-form Kevin De Bruyne leading the pack. Other interesting bets has seen a lot of support for Liverpool’s Mo Saleh to win the golden boot with his native Egypt at 50/1, although France’s Antoine Griezmann is also a favourite at around 14/1.
What are your plans post-world cup?
We continue to see a lot of interest in bingo and online arcade games. This seems to be a popular industry and is growing rapidly on mobile. Whilst we will continue to offer the best odds possible for football betting, we wouldn’t be surprised if we pivoted into a simple comparison for online bingo and arcade games.
