Blimey.ai was founded to revolutionise ad revenue optimisation in the streaming video-on-demand (SVoD) and Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) markets. As CEO, I identified a gap in the market for advanced AI-driven solutions that could both enhance ad revenue and address challenges like ad fatigue—where viewers disengage due to repetitive ads. We started with a dedicated team focused on creating technology that balances revenue growth with a better viewer experience.

From the beginning, we faced a competitive and rapidly evolving environment. To stand out, we concentrated on building a platform that optimises ad revenue and reduces ad fatigue, a key concern for advertisers and streaming platforms. We knew that simply increasing ad volume wasn’t a sustainable strategy. Our AI solutions analyse viewer behaviour to manage ad frequency and relevance intelligently, ensuring ads are effective without overwhelming viewers.

Our AI infrastructure is built on models that are Open Sourced, this allows our Algorithms to question against LLMs that are not using unlicensed datasets, and it was critical to develop against these LLMs instead of developing against OpenAI LLMs.
