Tell us about Nostrada.ai

Nostrada.ai is powerful artificial intelligence software that enables businesses to predict future policy that could impact their organisations. The platform currently enables three core products that let users ‘chat’ directly with AI clones of leading politicians, predict future policy and generate highly tailored lobbying letters.

The company is the first AI product aimed at professionals working in government relations, public affairs and advocacy.

Who is Leon V. Emirali?

Leon V. Emirali is the CEO and Founder of Nostrada.ai. Leon’s a seasoned entrepreneur who founded one of the UK’s earliest social media agencies whilst at university in 2009. He later co-founded a full-service digital agency. After leading the business to year-on-year growth and six-figure profits, Emirali’s shareholding in the business was acquired.

After successfully exiting two businesses, Leon was appointed as a senior adviser to a Cabinet minister serving in HM Treasury during a busy time in Westminster, which included the UK’s withdrawal from the EU, the 2019 General Election and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Today, as well as building Nostrada.ai, Leon is a consultant and media personality, regularly appearing on BBC News and Sky News as an expert commentator on business and politics.

How did you come up with the idea for Nostrada.ai?

Politics is so unpredictable right now. It’s very difficult for businesses to properly plan if they are unable to see round corners and anticipate what government policy might look like in the future.

Yet, despite that, politicians generate huge amounts of data. From speeches and social media posts, to news interviews and press releases – politicians deliver thousands of data points every week! I thought that if there was a way to synthetise this data and build accurate ‘digital twins’ of politicians, we could predict their future behaviour, and that’s how Nostrada.ai came about.

What can we hope to see from Nostrada.ai in the future?

We’re just about to launch our first three products in the UK market and later this year, we hope to launch in the United States, where the lobbying and campaigning industry is particularly buoyant. After that, we also plan to operate in the EU.

We’re working on a number of new AI products that will help businesses better understand government policy, as well as AI tools that can be used in military and diplomatic environments to help forecast future geopolitical developments.

How has Nostrada.ai evolved over the last couple of years?

We’re a new company and it’s been a whirlwind start. Every day we are learning and refining how we operate, particularly around the data gathering and synthesisation. We’re lucky to work with global talent who help build our technology and that’s given us a great platform to build from.

The biggest thing that’s changed for us is the unpredictable nature of politics. We are seeing huge changes to the ‘normal order’ and that means we are having to continually update our algorithms to adapt to that.
