Easee is a Norwegian green-tech company that was founded on the belief that electrification should be effortless for all. Our products make life easier for both installers and users by minimising barriers and promoting the widespread adoption of smart electrification technologies. 

The first step toward this goal was to create a smart, universal, and robust EV charger. Today, we’ve installed more than 800,000 chargers across Europe and exporting worldwide – making us the largest EV charger manufacturer of connected chargers in the world. We have charged more than a 100 million EV’s in the past 6 years, charging more than 6 billion hours with a success rate of more than 99%.

At Easee, quality and reliability are paramount. We have a rigorous testing and quality assurance process in place to ensure that every product meets our high standards. We even test our products at a temperature below -50 degrees, to ensure people will be able to charge their car even in extreme weather conditions.

What do you think makes this company unique?

What is your advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?

 

Keep pushing forward. The world we live in does not like to change, but do not get discouraged and push for the ideas you believe in.

A more practical thing that I have learned is about customer feedback. Customer feedback is so valuable. You should actively seek input from your users to understand their needs and experiences. This feedback should directly influences your product development and improvement processes. By listening to your customers, you can create solutions that truly make a difference in their lives.

What most excites you about Easee?

 

Easee will contribute in multiple ways to make this transition as smooth and mutually beneficial as possible. By ensuring seamless installation processes and ease of use, we enable people to drive electric, save money, and utilize the grid and power supply in the most optimal way. How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?

 

Starting with three visionary founders in a small office in Stavanger to more than 800.000 chargers installed all over the planet has been a rollercoaster ride. We saw very rapid growth in the first few years, and that brought about some growing pains. However, the company has matured, and we are much more professional now than we have ever been. With exciting new products and services coming up, the future looks bright.

What can we hope to see from Easee in the future?

 

We will continue to develop products and services that simplify the use and adoption of smart electrification technologies. By doing so, we aim to enable as many people as possible to enjoy the benefits of electrification, stabilize the grid and contribute to a healthier climate.
