The company was founded in 2008 with a simple mission – make phone based outreach faster, easier, and more productive for salespeople and teams.

In the early days, we faced the challenge of building trust in a space that had a lot of skepticism around dialing tools. Many platforms focused solely on volume, often at the cost of quality. We took a different path. Our approach was built on empowering reps to reach more people while still sounding human, personal, and respectful. That focus on quality engagement has been a key differentiator from the start.

Another early challenge for our team was educating the market. At the time, very few teams were actually using dialers in a strategic way. We spent years working very closely with clients to better refine our product, listen to how real sales team were working, and build features that support their workflows. From CRM integrations and call tracking to our patented call monitoring and remediation technology, the platform has grown into a comprehensive outbound communication solution.

One of our most meaningful contributions to the SaaS industry has been bringing together the power of automation with a human first approach to sales. PhoneBurner does not use predictive dialling. Instead, it gives reps the tools to call smarter – automating repetitive tasks while ensuring every call starts with a live person and a personal touch. This has helped sales teams improve performance without sacrificing authenticity or compliance.

In recent years, we have expanded our platform to better support sales, customer success, and fundraising teams across a wide range of industries. We have also developed new tools like our ARMOR technology, which helps businesses protect their phone numbers from being mislabeled as spam – an increasingly critical issue for outbound teams.
