At the same time, Vaayu has enabled its circular partners, including Schibsted Marketplaces and Otrium, to measure their avoided emissions, with over 4.2 million tonnes of CO₂e avoided in 2023, equivalent to the annual carbon sequestered by nearly 4 million acres of forest. At the core of Vaayu’s SaaS platform is its proprietary impact modeling engine. It integrates directly with retail systems, from POS and ERP to PLM and PIM, to automatically translate data into product- and company-level emissions across Scopes 1-3. Unlike traditional, retrospective reporting tools, Vaayu uses AI in data transformation and to generate science-based insights that businesses can act on immediately. This enables predictive modeling, scenario planning and automated outputs like Digital Product Passports, embedding climate intelligence into product pages via QR codes and delivering transparency to consumers.
