About Goldilock Secure
Goldilock Secure: Taking back control in an overconnected world
Goldilock Secure is a UK cybersecurity firm redefining enterprise security by giving organisations something they’ve never had before: the power to physically control their connectivity. Why do they need this? Because when everything is software, the true connections are hidden behind a virtual façade. Cyber-attacks are accelerating – and they thrive by hiding behind, then exploiting, that façade.
Our patented flagship product, FireBreak, gives businesses the power to instantly and remotely disconnect and reconnect critical systems from the network. This breaks the façade, isolates the threats and creates absolute security control. Firebreak is not just reactive, it can be proactive, specifically controlling the real connectivity and exposure of any high value digital asset or system.
In every major cyberattack, despite the instinct to pull the plug and disconnect what’s under attack before the threat spreads, someone must physically enter an equipment room. This is far too slow, highly error prone and incredibly hard to reverse gracefully, let alone perform dynamically day to day for proactive protection.
FireBreak changes the rules, by acting as a secure physical switch that can create a physical gap in precisely chosen places between systems and the network. Allowing organisations to isolate, segment and reconnect critical assets on demand, securely from anywhere they choose, without ever touching the cables.
That instant connect/disconnect capability transforms day-to-day protection. In a world that’s become overconnected, FireBreak gives organisations the ability to dramatically shrink their attack surfaces. Instead of keeping everything online all the time, companies can decide when systems are exposed, connecting sensitive servers or industrial systems only when needed. Keeping them safely offline the rest of the time, on the principle ‘if it’s not connected, it can’t be hacked’.
Crucially, as a hardware product FireBreak doesn’t rely on software the threats can interfere with nor the kind of network-based control that threats specifically attack.
Due to customer confidentiality, we must only cite independent industry testing, Broadband Testing described FireBreak as authentically unique with global potential, recognising its ability to deliver instant, verifiable isolation across vertical markets: including critical infrastructure, finance, transportation and industrial systems. We were also one of the first UK companies selected for NATO’s DIANA accelerator programme, which identifies and supports dual-use technologies with strategic defence and security value. FireBreak underwent additional product testing by NATO as part of this process and was the only cybersecurity company to become a finalist.
Ultimately, Goldilock’s mission is to help organisations crush down threat exposure. FireBreak gives them the confidence to operate in a connected world on their own terms, connected when they need to be, protected when they don’t.
Looking ahead, we’re scaling through new channel partnerships, expanding applications of our tech for edge and industrial environments, and deepening integrations with orchestration platforms so physical security can be automated alongside digital defence.
At Goldilock, we believe the future of cybersecurity isn’t just smarter detection, it’s smarter connection. With control where it belongs, in the hands of the defenders.
