With the launch of Turbotic Automation AI, Swedish tech company Turbotic brings automation into everyone’s hands. Five years after its founding by CEO Theo Bergqvist, the company unveils its most ambitious platform yet; an AI-driven system that builds, tests and runs automations from simple natural language prompts.
From RPA to AI Platform
Turbotic was founded in 2020, originally focused on Robotic Process Automation (RPA). But as the market evolved shifting away from heavy, expensive RPA programs toward user-centered AI automation, so did Turbotic.
“We realised early on that real transformation only happens when automation becomes accessible to everyone,”says Theo Bergqvist, Founder and CEO of Turbotic. “When anyone with basic technical understanding can automate their own work, innovation truly scales.”
By 2022, Turbotic began integrating generative AI into its platform. In 2024, early iterations reached 70% code accuracy; by May 2025, through a series of in-house machine learning models, that accuracy surpassed 95%, a milestone that marked readiness for launch.
How It Works
With Turbotic Automation AI, users simply describe what they want to automate for example: “Summarise my last five emails and send a weekly report to the team.” The AI instantly builds the full process: from data retrieval to logic and execution.
Each automation can self-test, monitor and repair errors automatically, connecting seamlessly with tools like Outlook, HubSpot, Jira, UiPath, and ServiceNow, all without a single line of code.
What’s Possible With Turbotic
The platform’s versatility has already been proven across multiple real-world use cases:
- Fully automated lead handling: Automation that manages the entire customer journey, from enquiry to payment, in minutes. AI qualifies leads, triggers follow-ups via SMS or email and completes payments Response times drop by 90%, and sales teams can focus on closing deals instead of manual tasks
- Resumé screener: Automation that can quickly read and sort What used to take 15 minutes per person now takes just 30 seconds. Saves 95% of the time, helps hire faster and lets HR focus on people instead of paperwork
- Inventory automation: Automation keeps an eye on your stock in real time, automatically orders more when needed, and helps avoid mistakes. Fewer shortages, lower costs and faster restocking
- Compliance checker: Automation that quickly scans documents to find missing or incorrect compliance information, reports issues automatically, and sends alerts right away. Reviews take minutes instead of days, mistakes are caught early, and companies avoid costly fines
At Turbotic’s Hack the Future 2025 event, over 1,600 automations were created in just five days, showcasing how fast teams can move when automation is powered by language and intelligence.
