About Ctrl Alt

Ctrl Alt is a leading tokenisation infrastructure provider, combining blockchain technology with expert financial engineering to deliver tailored, compliant solutions in the alternative assets space. As of November 2025, Ctrl Alt has tokenised over $460 million in assets, spanning real estate, private credit, funds and more.

Founded in 2020 and launched in 2022 by Matt Ong, Ctrl Alt emerged from a clear gap in the investment market. While working at an investment bank, Matt repeatedly encountered a frustrating barrier: incredible opportunities in asset classes such as property, collectibles and private markets were simply out of reach for most investors. Structural limitations, size or connections restricted access to a select few. That realisation sparked the idea for a platform that could make these opportunities accessible to everyone, rethinking what ownership could look like.

The company began as a mobile app, enabling investors to buy digital shares in alternative assets through blockchain technology and tokenisation. Within a couple of years, Ctrl Alt shifted from B2C to B2B, partnering with major financial institutions, fintechs and governments. This pivot allowed the team to scale access to larger and more complex assets while remaining true to the mission of broadening access to alternative assets.

Today, Ctrl Alt is firmly established as a leading B2B tokenisation infrastructure provider, recognised for combining financial engineering expertise with fully in-house blockchain technology to deliver digital asset solutions suitable for government and institutional adoption.

Ctrl Alt partners and works with leading global organisations, including the Dubai Government, Ripple, SEI, Solana, Enterprise Ireland and the Dubai Land Department. Notably, the company was one of the select few to join the Bank of England’s Digital Securities Sandbox and holds multiple regulatory credentials, including being registered with the FCA as an Appointed Representative and being VASP licenced by VARA, becoming the first firm in the region to be granted an Issuer licence. In addition to the Issuer license Ctrl Alt also holds a Broker-Dealer license.

The most notable achievement in the last year was the Dubai Land Department’s Real Estate Tokenisation Project, which allows investors to purchase fractions of a property in Dubai from as little as AED 2,000 (£414), fundamentally reshaping property ownership. The first tokenised property sold out in under 24 hours, with subsequent sales even faster, one completing in just 1 minute and 58 seconds. Since launch, 10 properties have been tokenised, attracting over 2,000 investors from more than 50 nationalities. This initiative has set a benchmark for large-scale, government-backed tokenisation, showing that digital ownership can be secure, efficient and widely accessible.

Ctrl Alt leads the field in tokenisation by delivering institutional-grade, regulatory-compliant solutions at scale. The company is uniquely positioned at the intersection of traditional finance and blockchain technology, combining deep institutional knowledge with technical excellence to drive the future of finance and make investing in alternative assets cost-effective, secure and widely accessible through tokenisation.
