Founded in the United Kingdom in 2019, Nourished has developed patented 3D printing technology to create the worlds first truly personalised nutrient gummy. Consumers can complete a short questionnaire at get-nourished.com, where a science backed algorithm recommends seven vitamins, superfoods and nutrients best suited to the users lifestyle and goals. Each nutrient stack is 3D printed on demand and delivered in plastic free packaging, offering a more sustainable, convenient, customised and efficacious product than competitor products.
The business launched just before the global COVID 19 outbreak, which created an immediate and unexpected test for the young company. Supply chain disruptions, lockdown restrictions and a volatile economic climate placed significant pressure on operations. To navigate these challenges, the team pivoted rapidly – focusing production on immunity and wellness products that met the needs of people confined to their homes. This adaptability became a defining feature of the company culture and laid the foundation for long-term resilience.
As the business grew, Nourished encountered another major hurdle: scaling production for personalised products. Traditional manufacturing technology was too slow and inflexible to meet the company’s requirements. There was no equipment on the market capable of delivering the speed, precision and flexibility needed for 3D printed nutrition. The team therefore engineered an entirely new hyper speed manufacturing line from the ground up. This breakthrough enabled Nourished to meet increasing global demand while maintaining its commitment to customisation, quality and sustainability.
In 2025, Nourished achieved a major milestone with its retail expansion into Boots, Holland and Barrett and Ocado in the United Kingdom. These partnerships marked the brands transition from a direct-to-consumer innovator to a household name available through leading retail channels. At the same time, the company’s export operations expanded further into multiple international markets, including Europe, the United States and China.
As a direct result of these strategic initiatives, Nourished is on target to achieve £10,000,000 in revenue in 2025, up from £6,350,000 in 2024. This represents a remarkable 57% year-on-year increase.
