Tell us about &above.
&above is an AI product studio, designing and building enterprise AI products for companies like Google and their customers. But unlike traditional agencies, we work quickly, building bespoke enterprise AI at startup speed.
Our ultimate goal is to help companies become AI native, because if they don’t achieve that, they’re going to be left behind. So, we don’t offer a digital transformation service, but rather an AI transformation, parachuting directly into problem spaces within businesses and really helping them to understand where AI can be applied to drive rapid value, then rolling out those processes.

What makes &above unique?
One of our key differentiators is that we move much faster than traditional consultancies, and have a real focus on getting tangible outcomes. Part of that comes from our approach to the process. We always start with a deep business challenge analysis, embedding ourselves within the business as we work to identify exactly what the company is struggling with and why. That way, we’re better positioned to find the most robust AI engineering solutions.
But we don’t just focus on the tech, because the most incredible AI solution won’t work if it doesn’t gel with the people who have to use it. So, human-centred behavioural design is also integral to what we do. Our aim is always to find the solution that will produce the best results for the people who have to use it, because that’s the only way to generate the best results for the company. We take an embedded team approach to achieve that.

How has &above evolved over the last couple of years?
&above began as a creative agency and brand studio, so on paper, that seems like a fairly huge pivot. But the reality is that we made a gradual change in response to the needs of our clients, adding a product studio before eventually making the decision to rebrand as an AI product studio in early 2025.
Companies like Google don’t need support building brand identity; they need customised AI tools and solutions to help them achieve their vision. We were already doing that, it just wasn’t our entire focus, which it is now. We’ve actually become a dedicated Google partner, taking AI to their customers.
As part of that evolution, we’ve recently introduced our AI Launchpad Service Model. So, rather than providing a complete AI transformation for a client, they can come to us for day-long co-creation sessions. In that time, we work to understand the business’ voice, collaborate with the customer to identify its issues in key business metrics, such as efficiency, profit, and marketing effectiveness. Then identify solutions that can reduce friction and scaffold an adoption process. It’s a strong entry point for businesses uncertain if AI can provide viable solutions for their needs.
What can we see from &above in future?
Well, our biggest focus at the moment is our AI Launchpad Service Model, and we plan to deliver 50 Launchpads in the next year. The aim is to measure and prove value from our current AI pilots, learn from the results and expand the service.
We’re also in the process of productising our learnings from our Google AI work, to roll them out to a broader customer base.
As the AI landscape develops at speed, we’re constantly refining our own internal processes and operations to stay ahead of the curve, and we’ll continue to do so in 2026.
