About Galia Rosen Schwarz
C8 Health is a best practices implementation platform built for clinical teams. Our AI-enabled solution supports clinicians with streamlined access to knowledge. I co-founded the company to solve a $345 billion problem: care inconsistency in US healthcare is not about resistant doctors but inaccessible information.
I have spent over 20 years in medtech and AI, contributing to a $220M acquisition, guiding a company to IPO with strategic partnerships including Pfizer and Novartis, and scaling multiple AI companies before founding C8. I hold a PhD from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology and have served as a visiting professor at NYU Stern. But the turning point came when I saw clinicians making critical decisions without considering the latest protocols, not because they did not care, but because the systems around them failed to deliver the right knowledge at the right moment.
The biggest challenge was proving that technology could integrate into clinical workflows without adding friction. Healthcare is notoriously resistant to new software, and rightly so. Clinicians are overwhelmed by the sheer volume of applications they navigate today. Thus, we built C8 to support contextual knowledge activation, with easy access via mobile, desktop, and workstation, while also integrating external apps for scheduling, task management, and quality improvement into a single entry point. We deliver guidelines at the point of care without requiring doctors to change how they work.
In the last year, C8 Health became essential infrastructure for hospitals facing value-based care transformation. Our 2025 research revealed 77% of quality leaders are not prepared for TEAM 2026 requirements, establishing C8 as a thought leader in quality improvement. We secured $12M in Series A funding from Team8, 10D, and Vertex Ventures Israel, bringing total funding to $18M.
We launched a transformative partnership with the American Society of Anesthesiologists, integrating their trusted guidelines and standards directly into the C8 platform, reaching over 2,000 anesthesiologists. We also launched a quality intervention solution that uses AI to democratize performance data, effectively automating adherence at scale.
The results speak for themselves. Published MetroHealth results showed 100% clinician adoption, fivefold improvement in timely protocol access from 15% to 79%, and satisfaction quadrupling from 22% to 86%. At UTMB Health, we drove 9.1% improvement in glucose management compliance, projecting $786K in annual savings. Expanded to six metrics, that projects $1.5M in total savings. We now serve over 100 US hospitals including 30 top academic medical centers such as Mount Sinai and UTMB Health.
As a leader, I raised $12M from top-tier investors while maintaining focus on solving real clinical problems. I negotiated the ASA partnership introducing industry-first Evidence Compare technology. I published the first comprehensive TEAM 2026 readiness research. I was named Bronze Award Winner among 1,500+ entries for the 2025 Stevie Awards Most Innovative Woman in Healthcare.
I have also built a diverse company where 50% of management and 40% of the overall workforce are women, in a sector where female tech leadership typically falls below 25%.
By embedding directly into EMR workflows, we proved that care inconsistency is a systems problem, not a people problem. The knowledge to deliver better care already exists. C8 Health makes sure it reaches the right clinician at the right time.
