About Vindicara
Vindicara started in early 2026 after I spent more than 15 years trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I saw doctor after doctor and was told my pain was normal, IBS, anxiety, or something else. When I finally had excision surgery, they found 73 endometriosis lesions throughout my body. That changed my life, but it also made me realise something. The biggest problem was not that doctors did not care. It was that they did not have the right tools to connect all of the symptoms and catch endometriosis sooner.
That is why I started Vindicara.
Vindicara is a clinical decision support platform that helps healthcare providers spot patients who may have endometriosis much earlier. Instead of looking at one symptom, Vindicara looks at the full picture, including symptoms, medical history, imaging, lab work, medications, and diagnoses. It helps providers recognise patterns that are easy to miss so patients can get the right testing and the right referrals sooner.
Starting a HealthTech company has not been easy. I have been building Vindicara while also leading a national nonprofit that helps women pay for endometriosis surgery and working on health policy to improve care across the country. I have also been dealing with my own recurring endometriosis and preparing for another surgery. Every dollar has been carefully invested because I have chosen to self fund the company as long as possible while building the right product.
Even though Vindicara is still in its early stages, we have already built relationships with leading endometriosis surgeons, researchers, policy leaders, and healthcare organisations. We are working toward electronic health record integration and preparing for pilot programs with healthcare systems and physician practices. We are building the platform with doctors, not just for them, so it fits into the way they already work.
While we are starting with endometriosis, the vision is much bigger. The same technology can help find other diseases that are often missed or take years to diagnose, including adenomyosis, Ehlers Danlos syndrome, POTS, and MCAS.
At the end of the day, Vindicara is about making sure patients get answers sooner. No one should have to spend 10, 15, or 20 years looking for a diagnosis like I did. If we can help doctors connect the dots earlier, we can help patients get treated sooner, avoid years of suffering, and improve lives.
