How did you come up with the idea for the company?
I just saw the news and the increasing redundancies and knew that it would be needed. I was made redundant many years ago now, and it was not a pleasant experience. I just wanted to do what I could to help, using what I know now both professionally as a psychologist, and as a business owner.

What advice would you give to other aspiring female entrepreneurs?
Talk to others who have done it to get some practical advice. Don’t be afraid to discuss money too. I think that many women are brought up to skirt around money. We might talk about how much a holiday costs, but we rarely share what we earn. In business, we have to get used to being upfront about costs, about asking for money and being firm when people try to talk us down.
What can we hope to see from Redundancy Recovery Hub in the future?
Much more content from a range of experts who can help you get back into work, retrain or even retire or start a business. I want it to be the one of the key places that people being made redundant consult.
