Maslife is the first banking app that supports consumers’ mental and physical health whilst providing them with the tools to develop conscious spending habits and gain a better understanding of their finances.
We have launched over 600 yoga and guided meditation videos, a step tracker and a calorie counter. The app also offers rewards for in-app achievements such as a MasterClass or Athletic Greens subscription, cashback and retail discounts.
How did you come up with the idea for the company?
During the 2018 crypto crash I had an anxiety attack whilst on a plane and thinking about my finances. When I got back home to the UK, I decided to make some changes in my life, practising mindfulness techniques such as meditation and yoga. In doing so, I came to the conclusion that there is a strong connection between mental and physical health and financial wellbeing.
I was one of the first investors and traders in the crypto-scene and built a number of companies and digital services, such as trading platform Batrix. Whilst establishing a few businesses, the years of stress and pressure of dedication to the business world caught up with me and I experienced a life-defining moment that changed everything and this is when my idea for Maslife was born.

How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?
The company went from a beta product to a full-blown AI-driven platform with a suite of financial features through partners such as MasterCard, RailsR and Checkout.com. In addition, we have built a customer rewards section that offers monthly raffles with prizes from renowned partners to incentivise our users to create healthier choices and positive habits. As well as a conscious spending feature to provide full insights to help people spend more on what matters to them and less on what doesn’t.
We have produced tailored meditation and yoga content to help tackle the mental well-being and financial health of our users, as we know how important well-being is in these current uncertain economical times. Maslife also offers the best rate in market exchange from GBP>EURO and offers interchange rates for international payment from up to 150 countries.
What can we hope to see from Maslife in the future?
Maslife has a major product roadmap in its pipeline with the ambition to launch in Europe by Q2 2023 and add many financial features such as open banking, invoicing tools and B2B branded dashboards. We see B2B as a key growth area as our customised well-being and financial tools can allow companies to benefit their employees’ mental and financial health.
