Cybersecurity services specialist RiverSafe has unveiled its expansion plans, including a string of new hires and investment in staff training, following a record year of trading.
RiverSafe, founded in 2010 by cybersecurity experts Suid Adeyanju and Oseloka Obiora, has seen a surge in demand for its services with revenue increasing 395 per cent in the last five years. The company, which is based in Canary Wharf, London, has also boosted its staff headcount of cyber specialists by 171 per cent over the same period, with plans for a further increase of 20 per cent over the next three years.
Oseloka Obiora, the company’s Chief Technology Officer, recently addressed the UK Parliament, warning MPs and industry leaders about the growing threat posed by the increasing volume of sophisticated cyber attacks.
The company’s growth plans come at a time with cyber threats to the public and private sector at an all-time high, with numerous high-profile incidents of successful hacking, phishing, and ransomware attacks making headlines around the world.

In response to the growing demand for its services, RiverSafe aims to recruit further highly specialised DevOps experts and skilled cyber practitioners as the company continues to scale up and grow its offering in this area.
RiverSafe provides customers with a suite of services across three key pillars of Cyber Security, DevOps, and Data Operations. The company offers a complete portfolio of expertise, consultancy, and technical capabilities to allow companies to reduce risk with its tailored ‘secure by design’ model.
Suid Adeyanju, CEO of RiverSafe, said “Cyber-attacks are the greatest threat facing businesses and still far too many organisations remain dangerously ill-equipped to protect their data and assets from hackers and ransomware attacks. As our business enters its next phase of growth, we have a cast-iron commitment to providing customers with the very best consultancy and technical support, and our growth plan will allow us to hire the best and brightest talent to take our company forward.”
