Lydia is a VP of Operations at Storyblok. Previously, she supported start-ups in tech, health-tech and IoT to develop their finance and people functions at EOSS Industries.
Lydia stands out as a trailblazer in the VP position, having successfully grown a startup from its inception to a formidable team of 230+ employees. Her leadership helped Storyblok from the Seed to Series B phase. Notably, she pioneered the creation of a remote workplace from scratch, fostering inclusivity, diversity and a strong sense of belonging among team members. She also managed, built and developed the finance, people and legal team. She is the senior leadership’s go-to person for finance, people and legal questions.
With a keen understanding of the challenges faced by remote/hybrid SaaS startups, Lydia’s mission is to alleviate pain points related to forecasting, investor and KPI reports, and the establishment of remote workplaces. Her value proposition lies in creating accurate forecast reports that drive data-driven decision-making and cultivating effective and efficient remote cultures for scalable growth. She also highlights the importance of understanding the people behind the number, as they will impact and influence them.
Lydia’s expertise is underscored by her seven years of experience in Startup, SaaS, Software, Health-Tec, Iot and retail. She has also spent six years in Finance, specialising in Treasury, Accounting, and Controlling. Her commitment to education is evident through her two years at the University of Graz, where she was a tutor for students and she was a tutor for high-school kids for more than six years where she focused on subjects such as accounting, and economics. Lydia is a distinguished member of the HV Finance and People Circle, further solidifying her reputation as a thought leader in the industry.
