About AI Simulator

Angel Investment Simulator – known as AI Simulator – was founded in 2022 and is a world-first technology that uses Artificial Intelligence to replicate the private investment market; helping investors and founders navigate the landscape in a risk-free environment. In the 10 months since officially launching the AI tool, users have grown from 20 to nearly 1,000, with revenue also growing to 60,000.

Designed to break down barriers to entry in the investment market, AI Simulator is a powerful tool that allows businesses and investors to realise their full potential and simulate, learn and accelerate their journey across the private market.

Created by visionary entrepreneur, Ali Kazmi, alongside tech implementation expert, Saj Hasnain, AI Simulator was designed to answer both the gap in the market for underrepresented founders and investors and the gap in knowledge and access to services in communities like their own. On the mission to disrupt the investment industry and democratise education, their goal is to become the go-to tool for start-ups launching anywhere in the world.

Through a gamified, web-based platform, entrepreneurs learn how to develop a compelling investor pitch, understand due diligence processes, and navigate complex financial negotiations. Founders act as investors in the simulation to get into the headspace of those they are pitching to, helping them secure the capital they need to thrive. Likewise, investors – including aspiring Angels – can take part in a six-month training programme that helps them learn and accelerate their investor journey.

Having developed partnerships with Creative UK, the North America-based Founder Institute, Angel Capital Association and Evelyn Partners, AI Simulator is already on its path to supporting founders and investors across the world. They are also working with universities to support spin-outs. They are currently partnering with Imperial College London to support their incubator programme, with future partnerships with the University of Birmingham and the University of Bristol following successful pilots.

The next year will see AI Simulator continue this growth, as they are set to unveil a new feature that will allow them to sharpen their pitching skills and create pitch decks that are thoroughly tested and validated through the Simulator. This comes from recognising that many founders struggle with pitching effectively, with this new add-on tool addressing this issue to support founders in securing investment through impressive pitches as well as knowledge of the investment market.
