About tinie.ai

Recallify is a memory and learning companion app designed to support individuals living with cognitive challenges due to brain injury, neurological conditions, or neurodevelopmental differences. It was founded in 2024 by Dr Sarah Rudebeck, a Senior Clinical Psychologist and academic in neurorehabilitation, following over 15 years of frontline NHS experience.

The concept for Recallify emerged from clinical frustration with the lack of modern, adaptive tools to support real-world memory and attention challenges. Despite major advances in artificial intelligence, most technologies are not designed with cognitive accessibility in mind.

Recallify enables users to upload or record audio, video, text and PDF information, and receive highly accurate outputs such as structured summaries, tailored voice reminders, and adaptive memory training activities. The system is designed to reduce cognitive load, support daily routines, and enhance recall over time.

The platform has been co-designed with Headway service users and clinicians, and is supported by the Brain Health Research Centre in Cambridge. Pilots are being planned across NHS neurorehabilitation services and third-sector organisations.

Developing Recallify has involved navigating regulatory complexity and the need to balance clinical rigour with user-friendly design. Ensuring that AI systems are both trustworthy and usable by individuals with fluctuating attention and fatigue has required iterative development and collaboration with end users.

To date, Recallify has supported close to one thousand users. It was awarded the UKABIF Mike Barnes Award for Innovation and selected for the Bethnal Green Ventures social impact tech accelerator. The app has demonstrated potential to improve adherence, reduce cognitive stress, and enable more personalised care in both clinical and community settings. Users report feeling more confident, less anxious, and better able to stay present in the moment, knowing they no longer have to hold everything in their head or worry about forgetting important information.

Recallify is part of a growing movement to embed cognitive accessibility into the foundations of digital health. By prioritising real-world usability and clinical relevance, it offers a scalable model for delivering adaptive, person-centred support to individuals with memory and learning difficulties.
