About Semble

Semble is an interoperable electronic health record (EHR) and practice management platform designed to support healthcare providers of all sizes, from individual consultants to multi-site groups. Unlike legacy systems that restrict workflows, Semble is open and flexible, integrating seamlessly with tools for diagnostics, billing, labs, CRM, HR and more.

Semble streamlines every stage of the patient journey, enabling providers to deliver personalised care while maintaining the highest clinical standards. Trusted by over 1,400 healthcare businesses across 77 specialties and relied on daily by 12,000 professionals, Semble provides a robust foundation for modern healthcare.

The company’s origins are rooted in the personal experiences of its founders, Christoph Lippuner and Mikael Landau, who witnessed firsthand the impact these inefficiencies had on patient care when loved ones required support. Reflecting on these situations, they recognised that healthcare professionals lacked the tools needed to work effectively.

Burnout among healthcare professionals is a global crisis, leading to compromised care, high staff turnover and declining wellbeing across the sector. Outdated processes continue to burden healthcare teams, forcing doctors to spend as much time on administrative tasks as they do with patients. For every eight hours of patient care, another eight hours are lost to paperwork – 44% of a doctor’s time is spent on admin. This inefficiency compromises the quality of care.

Semble’s mission is to empower healthcare professionals to amplify their impact, giving clinicians the tools they need to reclaim their time and restore balance, so they can leave the time-consuming admin to their tech and get back to the work they’re trained to do.

Semble and Schoen Clinic:

Schoen Clinic Chelsea, a leading provider of mental health and eating disorder treatments, has adopted Semble to streamline clinical workflows. This partnership has doubled patient capacity, reduced report-writing time by 75% (from 2-3 hours to 45 minutes), and offer patients same-day clinical feedback following appointments.

Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Daniel Masud, Consultant Psychiatrist at Schoen Clinic Chelsea, said: “I would spend 2-3 hours typing up reports, but with Semble I have reduced that to less than 45 minutes. When I look back, I have a bit of PTSD, a sense of horror that we used to work that way.”

Today, Semble is supported by a team of 114 members (61 percent growth in the last 12 months) representing 20 nationalities, with expertise spanning technology, product development, and customer support. Among them are former medical professionals (including a number of GPs) and a clinical safety officer, bringing invaluable insight into the challenges faced by healthcare teams.

With expansion into France and the number of patients treated monthly using its platform rising by 34%, from 228,109 in May 2024 to 304,553 in May 2025, the past year has been transformative for Semble. Annually, this represents an increase of 1.55 million patients, bringing the total to 8.5 million and 22% growth year-on-year. Over the same period, 4,276 new clinicians joined the platform, supporting over 2.3 million booked or attended appointments. Semble also expanded its coverage, now serving 77 specialties and further cementing its position as a leading solution for healthcare professionals.
