Synthflow AI was founded in 2023 with a bold mission: to make customer calls fast, natural, and frustration-free using AI voice agents. Based in Berlin, the company is now handling over 10 million calls every month for more than 1,000 businesses across 30+ countries.

The idea came from a familiar pain point—long wait times, robotic menus, and disconnected service experiences. Synthflow set out to fix this by building conversational voice agents that sound human, understand context, and respond instantly. The platform requires no technical skills to use, enabling companies to launch voice agents in days, not months.

Starting from a simple no-code tool for small teams, Synthflow quickly gained traction with agencies and fast-moving startups. As adoption grew, the team expanded its infrastructure and security capabilities, paving the way for larger clients and global rollout. In December 2023, Synthflow launched publicly, and in early 2024, secured $7.4 million in seed funding—bringing total investment to $9.1 million. This support from top-tier investors such as Singular and Atlantic Labs has powered the company’s growth and innovation.

One of Synthflow’s biggest challenges was scaling systems fast enough to match demand. The team had to rework backend operations under pressure while also refining pricing models to meet the needs of different customer types. Educating the market was another early hurdle—many companies had poor experiences with outdated call bots. Synthflow responded by focusing on voice quality, real-time responsiveness, and user experience.

Despite these challenges, Synthflow has consistently made the right bets. Prioritising simplicity and voice performance has helped the platform outperform competitors. The team has grown to 35+ experts in AI, product, and customer experience, united by the goal of transforming how people and businesses talk.

Clients today report up to 25% more completed calls, 20% higher conversion, and 70% lower service costs using Synthflow. And while customer support remains the main use case, new applications like proactive outreach and lead engagement are emerging.
