Logpoint was established in 2005 as a cybersecurity consultancy to help organisations strengthen cyber defences, and it introduced its SIEM solution to the market in 2012. Logpoint has acquired three companies since, most recently in the form of Muninn. Muninn’s AI-driven NDR will augment Logpoint’s Cyber Defence Platform with comprehensive network visibility, enhance situational awareness and threat detection and incident response (TDIR), and enable customers to prevent cyberattacks in real time.
Logpoint is continuing to explore other M&A opportunities while actively growing its customer base, for example, by expanding its partner channels. The company has developed a number of innovative offerings for its partners, including Director, a platform that enables the MSSP to centralise the provision and monitoring of services, improving efficiency by saving them valuable time on configuration and compliance.
Logpoint has been majority owned by ethical investor Summa Equity since 2023 and abides by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The company works to create a safer digital society for organisations and individuals unfettered by challenges like geopolitical unrest, commoditisation of malware, and shortage of cybersecurity talent.
