Who we are:
Quid delivers AI-powered consumer and market intelligence to inform the business strategies of some of the world’s most recognisable brands. Whether it is stocking trending items or adjusting product offerings to capitalise on a viral moment, Quid helps organisations understand the story behind trends, enabling them to make decisions that will have a tangible impact on their business.
Founded in San Francisco in 2010, our goal has always been to make complex data understandable and provide actionable insights that help businesses decode cultural and social dynamics, allowing them to better understand their customers, and anticipate issues before they happen.
Since launching 15 years ago, Quid has grown to become a 200-person strong business with a global presence.
What we do:
We know analysing large amounts of data can be complicated and time consuming. What is even worse is analysing the data and not knowing what to do with it. This is why at Quid, we don’t leave customers to flounder in complicated and expensive software and hope they figure it out; we partner with them to understand what their biggest business challenges are and work with them to find solutions.
Quid is focused on delivering outcomes across a broad range of industries, from generating incremental revenue for commerce brands by highlighting emerging trends, to successfully bringing new drugs to market for pharmaceutical companies. We combine our proprietary AI tools, custom models, and teams of internal subject matter experts to extract actionable insights from more than 2 petabytes of consumer and market data, all working in concert to make strategic recommendations to achieve customers’ goals.
Challenges:
Explaining AI analysis without overwhelming clients with technical jargon is a fine balance. We found that our customers sometimes struggled to make sense of the findings to suit their needs. We needed to streamline our offering to ensure our findings cut through customer data noise and provided insights that could be easily actioned.
To do this we’ve shifted our model to ensure that our customers not only have access to our innovative AI tools, but also our team of Outcomes Engineers who align the insights from our technology to our customers’ business objectives. This white-gloved service model means we do the heavy lifting, while customers receive straightforward, comprehensive and tailored recommendations ready to use for their businesses.
Our impact:
Today, we have had the privilege of working with some of the biggest household brands and global companies in the world, including the likes of NASA, Walmart, Taco Bell, Lufthansa, and Hyundai. Since 2019, we have also been a premier supporting partner of the Stanford HAI’s annual AI Index Report, one of the most trusted resources on the state of AI, recognised by global media, governments and leading companies.
