At ApTap we’re building the Google Ads platform for banking channels. We’re connecting brands with consumers, using transaction data to deliver relevant and timely experiences within native banking environments.
In doing so we help consumers save money, whilst driving engagement and revenue for banks and brands alike. We’re live and revenue generating, with over 100 brands on the platform and multiple major banks live, including: Barclays, Lloyds, TSB Bank, and BNP Paribas UK.

ApTap saved British consumers millions of pounds last year, with monthly traffic growing almost 100x in 2024 having onboarded three major banks. This has gathered the attention of some major British brands. For the first time in our company history, we had the best broadband and energy deals on the UK market.
We believe banks are evolving from financial vaults into a data vaults. In doing so, their scope has broadened, and they need to be prepared to compete with challengers whilst checking regulatory boxes, like the consumer duty and open banking mandates.
In turn, their customer relationships are evolving. Consumers are feeling the squeeze and expect their bank to support them – banks are well positioned to help people take the right actions at the right time.
Meanwhile, social and search channels are increasingly competitive and expensive, and brands are hunting for new, data-rich channels to tap into.
ApTap enhances the bank-brand relationship to get a flywheel spinning: helping consumers take relevant, contextual and timely actions within their banking app, while enabling banks and brands to drive engagement and new revenue through advertising models.
As the partnerships infrastructure layer, we operate across various industry verticals (energy, broadband, mobile, TV, subscriptions, insurance) and enable all sorts of journeys, from marketplaces to comparison and switching tools, and beyond.
These are huge markets, worth £10’s billions in the UK alone. We see the opportunity as win-win-win, for banks, brands, and the consumer.
By leveraging demographic, personal, and transaction data, our data models enable the seamless delivery of the most pertinent messages, prompts, and embedded user journeys within any native environment. Having built with the consumer at the core of the business, we leverage AI/ML to pinpoint which products/services might resonate most with an individual at a certain point in time.

Having raised over £2.5m through equity and Smart grants, we’re pushing on with deeper, better, and faster journeys within some of the world’s biggest banks.
