Enbodie was founded in Sept ’24 and has achieved a remarkable amount of milestones considering how young it is as a pre-seed startup, and the fact it is a bootstrapped organisation which has its own set of challenges – having already been referred to as “Facebook for Personal Health”, gained access to Microsoft Startup Founders Hub focusing on Ai, established key strategic partnerships with London & Partners, AiForge, Virgin Startups, Newable, Innovate UK and the British Beauty Council – the team are excited about the opportunity in front of them to ensure our purpose is met, that being ‘Personal Care Harmonised With Planetary Care’.
I’m sure you’re aware that globally, within the beauty industry, there is in excess of 120B units of non-recycled packaging – at Enbodie we want to positively affect that and many other areas. So, in our recent Ai preview (Jan 21st ’25) trial in which over 220 consumers participated, we measured and realised just how much we can impact sustainability at an unprecedented. We found that with the consumers, we made recommendations which improved their overall ESG footprint by well over 80% per person, providing recommendations which are more sustainable product alternatives, helping users drastically reduce their environmental impact.
When we break down ESG, we are investigating multiple areas including biodegradability and composability, CO2 emissions, ethical sourcing, water usage, waste reduction, etc. In addition, we found that over 70% of products analysed contained misleading “clean” claims – we aim to help consumers see through that noise and make informed decisions. Enbodie isn’t just reducing waste and improving personal care – we are reshaping entire industries (health, wellness and beauty).
Our B2B Marketplace, combined with our AI-Powered Data Repository, is actively building a more sustainable supply chain, helping brands, consumers, and suppliers transition toward an eco-conscious future.
We are currently in the process of obtaining B-Corp certification, reflecting our commitment to meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Enbodie’s ESG focus is deeply aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in driving responsible consumption (SDG 12), climate action (SDG 13), and environmental protection (SDGs 14 & 15). Our AI-powered analytical tools evaluate ingredient safety, sustainability scores, and ethical sourcing to empower responsible consumer choices in the health, wellness, and beauty industries. By promoting climate-conscious product recommendations, assessing supply chain transparency, and ensuring brands meet ethical standards, we contribute to reducing environmental impact.
