Founded in 2022, Jarvis was born from Roydens decade-long experience in wealth management, where he witnessed firsthand how only a select few had access to financial planning. As such, he knew he had to simplify pensions and empower individuals from all backgrounds to take control of their financial future.
Jarvis offers both personal and workplace pensions and an app with a user experience that feels like a challenger bank and is as easy to use as your favourite app. It provides real-time insights into retirement goals and simplifies pension management, including setting retirement budgets, planning joint retirements, consolidating old pensions, and adjusting investment risk profiles. It also integrates broader financial data such as cost of living, tax rates, and inflation, ensuring people have the information they need to make informed decisions about their finances.
Jarvis has also successfully delivered on its strategy of prioritising often-overlooked workers, such as freelancers and contractors, while offering a tailored alternative to default pension providers. By working with payroll software providers, funding platforms, trade associations, recruitment agencies, and umbrella companies, Jarvis is already making retirement planning easier for thousands of workers in the UK.
To date, Jarvis has partnered with Sonovate, a funding platform for recruitment agencies and contractors, JA, a software provider for umbrella companies, the Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA), and Finity, a back-office software platform for recruitment and umbrella companies. Through these partnerships, Jarvis is able to provide its pension management solution to hundreds of thousands of contractors, freelancers, and recruitment agencies.
Beyond partnerships, we are committed to financial education. Our retirement and salary sacrifice calculators help individuals understand how they can make the most out of their pensions to pay for life now and in the future. While also helping businesses understand how to optimise their pension contributions in the face of rising taxes. Both of these calculators are free to use and available on the Jarvis website, illustrating how its mission to transform pension planning through better engagement and education sits at the core of its proposition.
Just two years after being founded in 2022, Jarvis raised £1.8 million in seed funding last year and is already making pensions accessible and engaging for thousands of workers in the UK.
