QuestPrehab is a health-tech startup that focuses on digital prehabilitation (prehab) services. Our mission is to improve patients’ outcomes after major surgery or cancer treatment. QuestPrehab does this by preparing patients, both mentally and physically through personalised, AI- enabled, virtual programs. This leads to improvements in patients’ baseline fitness, reduce complications, and enhance overall health-related quality of life.
We empower people facing surgery to improve their outcomes before they reach the operating theatre. Our technology is designed around evidence, empathy, and accessibility—fuelled by a mission to shift healthcare from reactive to proactive.
QuestPrehab was released in 2022, launched by a team of clinicians, designers and technologists who saw the need to rethink perioperative care. Too many patients were arriving at surgery underprepared physically, mentally and emotionally- leading to slower recoveries, avoidable complications and spiralling healthcare costs. We set out to change that by developing digital prehab programmes that could be prescribed in advance, tailored to each individual, and delivered remotely at scale.
Convincing stakeholders to trial new pathways, integrating with the NHS, and designing secure, compliant infrastructure required persistence and an unshakable belief in our approach. We listened, adapted, and tested relentlessly.
Today, our platform has been adopted across several NHS Trusts and has shown measurable impact: shorter hospital stays, improved physical readiness, and better long-term outcomes for patients. Beyond clinical metrics, the insights our system delivers to care teams are helping shape smarter, more personalised pathways for the future.
We are now entering an exciting new phase with international expansion, with contracts in China and Saudi Arabia.
