TechRound is excited to announce the winners of our AI35 Competition 2025!

TechRound is proud to announce the winners of our AI tech campaign 2025, celebrating the entrepreneurs and companies pioneering the AI space.

At TechRound, we believe that it’s the innovation, not the size of the company, that makes a business worthy of inclusion. Our judges have all noted just how difficult it was to choose between the hoards of businesses that entered the competition – and now, our top 35 are ready to be announced!

Founded in 2016, TechRound is the UK’s best-known and fastest-growing startup and tech news site. This is where decision makers, investors and startups of all sizes and nature come to find out the latest developments and trends within the industry.

Feedback From The Judges

“AI won’t necessarily replace humans, but it will make us far more efficient. The entries in Techround’s AI 35 will collectively save billions of human hours, allowing us to focus on what really matters. We don’t always have time to file VAT refunds, analyze safety data, or log expenses, but some standout entries automate these tasks entirely. What impressed me most was the practicality. Anyone can slap “AI” on a website, but these submissions used the technology to solve real problems for businesses and consumers alike, making the entries feel less like hype and more like meaningful progress.”

Joshua Browder, CEO and Founder at DoNotPay.com

“Judging TechRound’s AI Tech35 competition was a powerful reminder that the world is shifting rapidly, driven by purposeful, planet-enhancing AI. From close to 100 startups, I selected 35 that are not only building scalable businesses but redefining what’s possible. ECHOVI, for example, is transforming animal welfare in agriculture through radar-based AI that monitors cattle health without stress or wearables. Therapy Box gives voice and dignity back to those with speech disabilities, powered by facial tracking and AI voice synthesis. Greyparrot turns waste into data gold, unlocking circular economy efficiencies. These companies prove AI isn’t just disruptive—it’s becoming indispensable to a better world.”

Furkat Kasimov, Entrepreneur, Digital Marketing Expert and Angel Investor

“AI/ML takes center stage. Whether it’s document-understanding, synthetic-data orchestration, adaptive learning engines, or real-time anomaly detection, AI/ML is baked into both the tech stack and go-to-market story of these companies. But adding AI to existing workflows won’t be enough — companies need to remake their entire workflows around AI. I was particularly impressed to see all the companies tackling complex, regulated, or asset-intensive domains with this purpose-built intelligence. My #1 choice, Netradyne is applying this cutting-edge ML to solve a real, difficult problem, saving lives on the road.”

Archie Mckenzie, Founder and CEO of General Translation

“It was fantastic to see so many companies pushing the boundaries of what might be possible with AI. The shortlist of talent demonstrates innovation with real-world impact: from healthcare access to disease research, these companies showcase how cutting-edge technology can provide humanity-delivering, lifesaving breakthroughs. They help advance scientific understanding and promote wellbeing, while offering inspiring case studies that illustrate AI’s powerful role in driving social good.”

John Lucey, VP EMEA at Cellebrite

“There were many entries which stood out in the AI35 entries, but what really captured my attention was the way organisations are leveraging advances in technology to make tangible differences to our local and global societies. The use of AI to give voices to those who battle to be heard, to protect those most vulnerable, and to bridge the gap between business growth and sustainability are truly inspiring.”

Chelsea Chamberlin, Chief Technology Officer at Roc Technologies

“Judging the AITech35 2025 entries was genuinely inspiring. What stood out to me were the startups applying AI in real, tangible ways, whether improving healthcare outcomes, streamlining operations, or unlocking new value in legacy industries. I especially appreciated entries that showed strong traction and a clear understanding of their market, not just great ideas. A few had impressive technical depth and commercial clarity, which is rare. It’s exciting to see such a high level of innovation coming from both early-stage and more established players. The future of AI is in good hands if this cohort is anything to go by.”

Adetoyese Kola-Balogun, Founder at Tenantpro

“TechRound’s AITech35 is becoming increasingly difficult judge due to the sheer volume of high-quality entrants and the incredible work these companies are doing! It’s such a pleasure to have the privilege of taking a deep dive into the incredible innovations coming from the AI industry today, and to gain a little bit of insight into the brilliant minds and business leaders behind it all. At the forefront of all of these companies and their work is a sheer desire to be better, smarter and more progressive, and if techRound’s AITech35 is anything to go by, things are only going to get more impressive in the future!”
