TechRound is excited to announce the winners of our Blockchain32 Competition 2025!

TechRound is proud to announce the winners of our Blockchain32 campaign 2025, celebrating the entrepreneurs and companies pioneering the blockchain space.

At TechRound, we believe that it’s the innovation, not the size of the company, that makes a business worthy of inclusion. Our judges have all noted just how difficult it was to choose between the hoards of businesses that entered the competition – and now, our top 32 are ready to be announced!

Founded in 2016, TechRound is the UK’s best-known and fastest-growing startup and tech news site. This is where decision makers, investors and startups of all sizes and nature come to find out the latest developments and trends within the industry.

Feedback From The Judges

The quality of submissions this year was impressive — ranging from infrastructure-level blockchain solutions to bold integrations of AI and compliance. What stood out were projects that tackled real-world problems like transparency, decentralisation, and regulatory challenges without overengineering. Teams like Randamu and SHIZA showed not just technical depth but strategic clarity and purpose. It was great to see entries that communicated a clear vision, a capable team, and an identifiable market need. I’m confident many of these ventures are positioned for significant success and look forward to seeing their growth in the evolving Web3 landscape.

Michael Jerlis, Founder & CEO of EMCD

“It’s a pleasure to judge startups dedicated to advancing blockchain technology – an area where innovation is unlocking exciting possibilities for the future of decentralised finance. A standout for me was Backed Finance. Its focus on compliance and ecosystem growth for ERC-20 tokenised assets focuses on the most crucial growth areas of blockchain technology for the future. Its emphasis on compliance is an asset in a world that is increasingly focused on the legislative and legal aspects of distributed ledger technology.”

Dr. Nick New, CEO and Co-Founder of Optalyysys

“Eunice stood out to me because they’re focused on solving a real problem in the blockchain space… and that is: regulation. I think a handful of platforms sometimes try to focus on a lot of different things at once and that can make the business feel less like a venture that aims to create value. Having a niche and much-needed focus has a higher impact when it comes to bridging gaps within industries. Overall, though, I was genuinely impressed with the different ways this year’s entries are thriving in the blockchain world. Each year’s competitions get more and more impressive, and I look forward to next year’s entries, already!”

Zee Yende, Writer at TechRound

“This year’s TechRound Blockchain startup awards is a very interesting blend of traditional crypto tech bringing tangible improvements to already established use cases with a set of concrete blockchain applications, especially focused on payments & RWAs, and a set of very interesting hybrid blockchain – AI solutions.

My notable mentions would be to stablecoins as they are seemingly taking over global payments solutions, with an initial focus on developing regions like Africa or South America; RWA tokenization with special emphasis on real estate, hopefully with mainstream adoption following soon; and AI platforms with native blockchain layer for data certification.”
