“The Sustainability60 competition showcased impressive innovations that are aiming to tackle monumental challenges in the world. I was particularly amazed to see the developments happening in traditional industries such as agriculture, mining, IT, and consumer products. The distinguished entries demonstrated a combination of innovation, scale of impact, and ability to tackle hard to solve problems. These companies have proved that entrepreneurship can effectively address our most pressing environmental challenges while building viable businesses.Thank you, TechRound, for the opportunity, and the participant companies for their contributions!”

“I was incredibly impressed by the range of businesses that applied, and the scope of the sustainability challenges targeted. All of the applicants should be proud of their achievements thus far, and continue to push on to meet the ambitious goals they have set for the future. The stand out applicants proposed truly innovative solutions aimed at tackling modern problems with huge upsides to sustainability. While all of the companies espoused their sustainability credentials, the top applicants made sustainability core to their product or service offerings providing truly original technology to the market.”

“I’ve really enjoyed judging these entries, they highlight so many of the key sectors we need to focus on to reach net zero. Tackling the climate crisis is no small task; it requires collaboration across industries and a constant drive for innovation. It’s been great to see that innovation shine through, especially in smart solar solutions that make renewable energy more accessible. The EV market solutions also stood out, addressing some of the big social and environmental challenges we need to overcome for widespread adoption. These ideas show just how powerful ESG-driven innovation can be in shaping a greener future.”

Together, they should give us all cause for optimism: a huge variety of solutions to a huge variety of sustainability issues, with creative, innovative thinkers behind each one.
Congratulations to everyone who entered, and let’s keep up the momentum to create the best solutions possible to the many environmental challenges facing our planet today.”
