About Finovox

Document fraud is becoming easier to commit, harder to detect and increasingly costly for businesses. Artificial intelligence is only adding to the challenge, making fake documents more convincing and traditional verification methods less reliable. This is where Finovox comes in. Founded in France in 2022, the company set out to tackle this growing threat with technology that makes fraud detection faster, smarter and more reliable.

At the heart of its approach is an AI-powered platform that identifies falsified documents, automates verification and strengthens Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering processes. The idea is simple: help businesses catch fraud before it causes damage, without making life more difficult for legitimate customers.

And the need for this kind of protection is becoming increasingly clear, both in the UK and across Europe. Research conducted by Finovox together with research institute Selvitys found that 11% of British respondents admitted to committing document fraud. Of those who had committed fraud, 82% said they had succeeded, while 67% of respondents identified AI as a factor making fraud easier. These findings are a reminder of how quickly the threat is evolving and why businesses can no longer rely on traditional checks alone.

This is exactly the challenge Finovox is helping businesses address, with results that speak for themselves. According to the company, its technology blocks 80% of document fraud attempts and saves anti-fraud teams 50% of their time. Investigations that previously took around an hour can now be completed in approximately three minutes using its latest tools.

But the impact goes beyond saving time. In 2025, the company helped customers prevent more than €100 million in potential fraud losses, while also tripling its revenue. Its technology now supports over 70 businesses across 15 countries. As more companies trust Finovox with sensitive documents, protecting that information becomes just as important as detecting fraud itself. Its ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and SOC certifications reflect that commitment.

That growing demand has also opened the door to further expansion. In May 2026, Finovox officially launched in the UK, followed by an €8.2 million Series A funding round in June to support its European growth and continued technological development.

Of course, fraud is not standing still. As criminals find new ways to manipulate documents, the technology designed to stop them must keep evolving too. Finovox is therefore continuously developing new tools to help businesses stay one step ahead. Just this October, the company introduced a new ROI measurement feature, helping businesses see the financial value of preventing fraud and make better-informed decisions about their security.

Ultimately, the ambition goes beyond detecting fraudulent documents. With its sights set on becoming the European standard for document verification, Finovox is working to make fraud prevention a natural part of doing business, helping organisations protect their customers, reduce financial risks and build trust in an increasingly digital world.
