Tell us about ByteNova AI
Absolutely. At a macro level, ByteNova AI is an edge AI company focused on making artificial intelligence more accessible, efficient, and secure by moving computation closer to where data is generated. Instead of relying on centralised cloud infrastructure, our platform enables enterprises to run AI models directly on local devices and edge servers. This delivers tremendous benefits such as lower latency, reduced costs, greater flexibility, and stronger data privacy.
We’ve meticulously designed a containerised architecture and a unified API that make AI integration as simple as cloud deployment, but without the heavy bandwidth and cloud dependency. Our vision is to make AI as seamlessly integrated into everyday operations as smartphones are today.

How did you come up with the idea for the company?
My own background is in AI and compute architecture, and over the years I’ve seen both the potential and the limitations of cloud-first AI. Cloud infrastructure is powerful, but it isn’t always practical, especially for applications that require real-time responses or have strict data privacy needs. The idea for ByteNova AI grew out of that pronounced market gap. We wanted to figure out a way to design a system where AI doesn’t have to live in the cloud, but can instead be deployed wherever it’s needed, whether that’s on an industrial machine, a smartphone, or an autonomous vehicle? That was the seed that became ByteNova AI.

Tell us about your core product or service: ByteNova AI
At the core of our platform is a containerised architecture that allows AI models to run efficiently on edge devices without relying on constant data transfers to the cloud. Our system optimises GPU and compute resources, enabling faster inference, smoother training, and better energy utilisation. The platform also offers a unified API, so enterprises can integrate AI into their workflows with the same ease they’d expect from cloud services. What makes it powerful is not just the efficiency, but the interoperability, we support a growing range of hardware, from GPUs to TPUs and NPUs, making AI adoption more practical across industries.
What most excites you about the AI industry?
I have a keen eye on the transition away from centralised AI to distributed intelligence. For years, the assumption was that “bigger is better”, bigger models, bigger data centers, bigger compute clusters. But now, with edge AI, we’re seeing intelligence move closer to the user, the device, and the decision point. That shift unlocks entirely new applications, real-time translation, autonomous systems, privacy-preserving analytics, that simply aren’t possible if you rely solely on the cloud. It feels like we’re entering a new era where AI isn’t a distant service you call on, but something embedded in everything around you.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to overcome along the way?
I would say that one of the biggest challenges has been aligning a forward-looking vision with the realities of enterprise adoption. Many organisations are excited about AI at the edge, but they also want stability, compliance, and ease of use. So we’ve had to balance innovation with reliability. Building an architecture that feels as simple to use as cloud services, but runs on entirely different principles, took a lot of iteration. The good news is that this challenge pushed us to make the platform stronger, more intuitive, and ready for large-scale deployment.
What is your number one piece of advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?
Focus on solving real problems, not just chasing trends. And listen to your customers early, what they struggle with day to day often matters more than what’s making headlines.
What can we hope to see from ByteNova AI in the future?
“We’re scaling aggressively in three areas: simplifying AI operations, building a distributed compute network, and expanding hardware compatibility. You’ll see us continue to make AI deployment as simple as updating a mobile app, connect compute resources across devices to create intelligent local networks, and broaden support beyond GPUs to include NPUs, FPGAs, and more. Longer term, we aim to empower enterprises across the industry spectrum to scale AI without being constrained by cloud infrastructure.
We’re also currently working on N.O.V.A. (Non-fungible Omnipotent Virtual AI), which is a personalised, animated AI companion, designed for both everyday connection and savvy crypto trading. Built on ByteNova AI’s edge-first technology, N.O.V.A. runs directly on users’ devices for unmatched privacy, speed, and cost-efficiency. With our creation market, users can craft and trade accessories, unlocking endless customisation and new revenue opportunities. More than a companion, N.O.V.A. is your 24/7 Web3 assistant, trading partner, and productivity buddy, ready to chat, strategise, notify, and even respond to your voice in real time.”
