Tell us about Netā
Netā exists to reshape boardrooms as the tipping point for change. Boards define the future of business and society, yet too often, they lack the diversity, foresight, and sustainability mindset needed to navigate today’s challenges. We’re changing that.
Through our programs and community, we equip dynamic leaders with the skills, knowledge, and networks to step into governance roles and drive real impact. For us, future ready skills like sustainability aren’t an add-on, but core leadership competencies. By ensuring the right people are in the room, we’re not just preparing boards for the future; we’re helping them to shape it.
How did you come up with the idea for the Netā and what do you think makes this company unique?
I’ve always been driven by the idea of building a new business as usual—one that creates value without sacrificing long-term resilience. As an engineer, I was trained to think systemically, to see the interconnected web of costs, benefits, and consequences. Over the years, I watched countless sustainability initiatives, with real potential, fail. Not because they weren’t viable, but because they couldn’t get past the boardroom.
As a board member myself, I saw firsthand how often decisions were made not out of resistance, but due to a disconnect—proposals weren’t translated into the language of governance, risk, and fiduciary duty. Without that alignment, boards simply couldn’t act. I founded Netā to bridge that gap. We equip both future and current board members with the skills to navigate complex decisions, integrate ESGT (Environment, Society, Governance and Technology) into boardrooms and become drivers of real, systemic change.
What is your advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?
Stay in love with the problem, not the solution. It’s easy to get attached to an idea, but real success comes from iterating, learning, and adapting. Get out there—talk to people, test concepts, and don’t wait for perfection.
Ask for help, be vulnerable, and don’t let the sheer volume of what could be done stop you from taking action. And most importantly, don’t burn out—your future company’s culture starts with you, so make space for fun, curiosity, and rest.

What most excites you about the future of Netā and what do you hope to accomplish?
We’re at a tipping point in governance. The world is changing at a pace that demands boards evolve beyond outdated, reactive models and step into a new era—one that is proactive, future-focused, and equipped to navigate complexity. What excites me most about Netā’s future is our ability to help drive that shift.
We’re building the ecosystem enabling boards to lead with confidence, agility, and accountability. We see a future where governance isn’t just about risk mitigation, but value creation—where boards guide companies in shaping the future. That’s the world we’re building, and what drives us forward.
Tell us a bit about what stage of growth Netā is at, and what your main focus for the business is right now?
Netā is in the go-to-market stage with several offerings while advancing our flagship B2B product into its MVP phase. Right now, our focus is threefold: expanding our Board Readiness programs to bring more diversity of background, experience, and perspective into governance; establishing Netā as a trusted partner for boards navigating the future; and scaling our revenue base to fuel our broader systemic impact.
As we grow, we’re focused on making future-ready governance the standard, not the exception.
What can we hope to see from Neta in the future?
Netā is driving necessary change—not just in who is in the boardroom, but how boardrooms operate. Our Board Readiness programs are already equipping dynamic leaders for governance roles, and we’re expanding our impact by upskilling current directors, integrating ESGT into governance, and launching a B2B training platform and certification to raise global standards.
Beyond education, we’re engaging the broader governance ecosystem to make future-ready boards a tangible advantage. Expect to see us leading this shift, shaping governance as a force for lasting change in business and society.
