A Conversation with Andrej Persolja, Founder of We Fix Boring

Tell Us About We Fix Boring?

At We Fix Boring, we help tech companies with $1M+ in revenue to turn their ambitions into a clear and focused strategy. Our work supports CEO and CMOs facing high-stakes decisions, providing clarity on which products and features to choose or avoid. Helping them to focus on what actually makes them different in the eyes of the customer, and how they can use this to build an unfair advantage to grow sustainably in the long term.

What Do You Think Makes Your Offering Unique?

Most service providers avoid hard work. At We Fix Boring, we do the opposite. So, we zag when others zig, taking full ownership of the project, ensuring that it’s not just executed, but valuable in your day-to-day processes.

1) We start with a free audit on where growth is already happening, uncovering what channels, messages, and segments are working. Most companies are sitting on overlooked leverage.

2) We dig into why customers actually buy through direct interviews, market testing, and synthesis.

3) We identify your real edge; the thing you can scale, own, and use to really set you apart.

4) We validate it in the market. Anyone can produce a document. But we validate in the real world, with message testing, sales scripts, and pipeline signals. If it doesn’t stick, we refine until it does.

5) Then we align your team around your strategy.

You don’t walk away with a PDF. You walk away with results.

How Has Your Offering and Approach Evolved?

In 2021, I mostly sold workshops to teach marketers how to implement my frameworks – these are free on Miroverse and have been used by approximately 800 teams. But I wanted to make more impact. Over time, my offering evolved to become more hands-on.

This unintentionally aligned with the changing needs of the market. Many of the consultants I’ve spoken to say that they are having a difficult time selling. My hands-on approach seems to build trust, allowing me to work with companies for a longer term, helping me to deliver better results. On average, I work with clients for 12-18 months. And everything starts with a no-brainer offer (a free audit) you can find on the company’s website or my LinkedIn profile.

What Can We See From You In the Future?

I’ve only just started. In the immediate future, I want to do more. So many CEOs and CMOs struggle with decision fatigue. And it can break even the most motivated teams.

I want to support them to not just achieve their ambitions, but to do so in a way that feels sustainable, repeatable, and aligned.

As a next step, I want to further develop my network of investors and potential buyers. In my work, I meet a lot of good founders who want to sell their companies at a fair price in the not-too-distant future. With the services I provide, we can enhance the attractiveness of the company for potential buyers, positioning it as a sustainable enterprise. Creating a win-win situation for both the founders and investors
