Tell us about Voicemod

Voicemod is the global leader in real-time AI voice transformation and interactive audio.

With over 45 million downloads and millions of active users, Voicemod empowers gamers, streamers, and content creators to transform their voices in real-time as easily as they switch in-game avatars or skins. It has become the go-to tool for those looking to supercharge their voice and create unique online personas.

How did you come up with the idea for the company?

I co-founded Voicemod with my brothers, Fernando and Juan, in 2014 out of a passion for music, sound, and technology.

We initially started with the idea of creating a music app, but we quickly shifted our focus to voice modulation after realising its entertainment potential.

We could never have imagined that our app would become the go-to AI voice-changing and be used by tens of millions of users.

What is your advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?

Build an amazing team, your team is always the most important part of your business. Take care of them and grow alongside them. Building a company takes resilience, creativity, and adaptability.

I would also stress the importance of listening to your users – ask them questions and have a close relationship with them. This has been one of the biggest parts of our development.

For example, one of the most requested features from our users was the ability to access Voicemod on consoles, mobile devices, and tablets. In response, we recently launched Voicemod Key, a cutting-edge hardware device that brings us a step closer to achieving our vision of bringing our full feature set to all platforms, ensuring seamless voice customisation across any device.

What most excites you about Voicemod?

The potential to redefine how people express themselves online. Voice is such a powerful and personal medium, yet historically, digital self-expression has been heavily visual.

Voicemod is changing that by making voice as customisable as avatars, skins, and filters. The idea that we’re helping people find their voice—literally and figuratively—is incredibly exciting.

Beyond that, Voicemod is also about inclusivity. Not everyone feels comfortable using their natural voice online, whether due to personal identity, privacy concerns, or accessibility reasons.

Our technology empowers people to be heard online the way they want helping them feel more confident, represented, and included in digital spaces. Whether it’s gamers embodying their characters more authentically, content creators crafting unique personas, or individuals exploring self-expression in safe and creative ways, Voicemod is enabling a more inclusive online world.

How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?

Voicemod has evolved from pioneering the voice transformation space to becoming the leading AI company driving real-time voice innovation.

We’ve introduced advanced AI-driven voice synthesis, expanded our platform to mobile, and built strong partnerships with major entertainment and gaming companies such as Corsair, HP Omen and MSI.

Our user base has grown massively, and our technology has become more sophisticated, more accessible, and more integrated into the digital ecosystems where people connect, play, and create.
