Jobseekrs is a careers platform that mitigates unconscious bias at the sourcing and screening stage of the hiring process to increase diversity and inclusion and to decrease churn. It starts off with the ability to “discover” companies and the job opportunities.
Next, you swipe right to apply for a job. The Jobseekrs algorithm matches a candidate to a potential employer based on skill set (competency to the job role) and culture alignment. It produces an overall percentage fit score which is presented to the employer anonymously. The employer then purchases credits to reveal and engage with candidates. Thereafter, our in-app video communication tool drastically reduces time and cost during the interview process. Jobseekrs is free for employers to post jobs and for candidates to use the platform.

How did you come up with the idea for the company?
After much research and our own personal experience, we found 2 consistent views
(1) Unconscious bias hinders diverse recruitment
(2) The current job search and matching process, is extremely frustrating, where both candidates and employers go through multiple interview rounds, before realising the job or company wasn’t a great fit.
Now look, let’s be honest here. Everything has a personality including a company!
The Jobseekrs process is about mutually beneficial alignment. The process is fair, swift, equal and inexpensive, to increase job retention.
