Headway is an emerging EdTech unicorn that helps people grow in a fun and easy way. Our microlearning products enable millions of users globally to achieve self-development goals faster. Headway helps busy adults stay on top of shrinking attention spans and rapidly changing skill demands.
We develop concise educational content formats, including summaries, courses, games, and infographics, that fit the fragmented nature of our time in the fast-paced world. For instance, through 15-minute learning sessions, users receive nonfiction book essentials, study a new art or history topic, or take tests to keep their brains sharp. Thus, they can enhance their skills while standing in line, doing house chores, or commuting.
How did you come up with the idea for the company?
Once I realized it had been a few months since I had read a book. And the reason was obvious and widespread — I lacked time. Returning to continuous reading took me considerable effort, so I started thinking about ways to help people get back on track. The test “Your Genius Zone” on Lex Sisney’s blog (author of “Organizational Physics”) was the last straw.
I had to answer, “What would you do with your life if you knew you were guaranteed success and happiness?”. I imagined I had all the time, money, resources, connections, and drive. I answered: “I would work on a platform that allowed individuals to educate themselves, educate others, and be role models, a platform that will spread enlightenment. In three weeks, I founded Headway.

What can we hope to see from Headway in the future?
We are working to enhance AI-based personalization to anticipate and meet user expectations, boost gamification through interactive formats, and add new content topics. We are also developing a personal AI assistant in the Headway application.
It will improve the learning process by providing highly personalized and carefully selected content adapted to a particular user’s real needs and challenges. Overall, Headway will evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of learners and deliver just-in-time knowledge in the most efficient way possible.
