Lumigo is a platform that allows developers to visualize every request in their serverless and cloud-native applications, as it moves from service to service. It’s easy and quick to integrate so developers can start finding and tracking issues within minutes.
Our user base is growing fast. We have hundreds of companies on board, such as Medtronic, Vimeo and Sonos. They use Lumigo to observe, understand and debug their serverless and microservices applications in production.

How did you come up with the idea for the company?
I see myself first and foremost as a developer. I started 20 years ago, in my first development role in Check Point. As time went by, I got deeper into the cloud business, learning what cloud has to offer while working on a cloud security product. I started to see a new paradigm of development emerging mostly around event-driven architecture, decoupling services, and microservices.
2016 was the year I got to learn about Serverless, mainly from customers that were ahead of the curve, and understood that serverless is allowing them to move much faster in development and saving them costs.
I got really excited when I first tried and played with the technology. You can say I fell in love with the concepts of how easy it is to get started, and how fast it is to get a product to the market. But something was hindering the adoption, and that was that the tools were not sufficient with issues in monitoring and debugging. The ecosystem was not mature enough. That’s when Aviad Mor, my co-founder and CTO and I, set out to help the developer community adopt Serverless and remove the barriers.

What advice would you give to other aspiring entrepreneurs?
Don’t expect growth to be linear. When you experience setbacks, view them not as a setback but as a necessary pathway on the road to growth. Very few entrepreneurs have the luxury of having the seas part in front of them as they step into their entrepreneurial journey.
For the rest of us, we have always looked for silver linings in every cloud. In fact, I would say that finding these silver linings are what separates successful entrepreneurs from the rest.
What can we hope to see from Lumigo in the future?
At Lumigo we want to take away the pain of troubleshooting and debugging in a distributed Cloud computing environment.
We want to continue to act as a beacon for the Serverless community and also deliver all Cloud-native development teams from debugging darkness into the light by introducing a visual and effortless debugging experience to all.
