Started two years ago, Nuevo is a creative agency founded on purpose.
We have brought together world class creatives, strategists, operatives and more to go on a journey of learning, development and education – with the sole aim of giving creativity a conscience and changing the industry for the better.
We work with clients on a long term basis and partner with them to change the way marketing is planned, executed and delivered.
Some of our clients to date include Canada Goose, EY, Ordnance Survey, Pall and Nordea.
How did you come up with the idea for the company?
I saw how inefficient the industry is. It was over-sourced, over-staffed and I took it upon myself to look closer at the granular makeup and details within the creative sector. I knew things needed to change and that’s how Nuevo was formed.
I understood what brands were doing globally and Nuevo’s values align with exactly that. Nuevo needed to look at how brands and businesses work – supply chains, operations etc – and find solutions and frameworks to be more sustainable. It was my task to challenge the norm in a collaborative way, not go on a witch hunt of what was being done wrong.

What do you think makes this company unique?
Nuevo’s values and sustainability values underpin everything we do. We’re not seeing sustainability as an afterthought – it sits above every element of a project or process.
The passion for our mission is unrivalled and we’re committed to changing the industry – it’s something that needs to be done and we must move the needle in the fight against climate change.
We’re not the finished article, but we’re constantly developing, learning, adapting and sharing.

How has Nuevo evolved over the last couple of years?
Nuevo has gone from 2 to 20 staff in just over two years. We have taken time to identify what was needed across every area of the business and grown immensely.
Our work, identity and methodology is being seen across the industry and we’re constantly making new contacts – this is what I enjoy the most. Conversations, relationships and collaborations can lead to great things.
Recently, I spoke at Blue Earth Summit in Bristol and Planetiers World Gathering in Lisbon, Portugal – telling thousands about my journey in the industry and how Nuevo was created.
In summary, Nuevo is constantly evolving and learning. We do sometimes venture down unknown rabbit holes – we’re learning the hard way. This helps us develop and produce tangible and intelligent products and processes.
What can we hope to see from Nuevo in the future?
We want to have more impact in the industry. We want to see our good work turned into action and influence every aspect of marketing and advertising. We want to prove and pioneer what’s possible in the space – and more importantly take brands and businesses on a positive journey with us.
For example, we’re currently working with a brand on a long term project and we’re investigating a completely unknown – to us anyway – of production. It’s daunting but exciting – the client is also excited.
