Millions of skincare enthusiasts and professionals across the world are looking for ways to build a sustainable skincare line and become a beauty business entrepreneur.

The problem is that the classic private label world is not made for them. It is made for big enterprises. High minimum order quantities (MOQs), slow lead times, mega budgets, and hard-to-approach archaic systems.

Small/mid-size businesses don’t stand a chance in this system. They can’t afford to order large amounts as they are limited in resources and know-how.

We are a group of experts from the skincare and marketing industry and we decided that we were well positioned to do something about it with the skillsets we possess. We created a one-stop platform for creating, personalising, and supporting clean beauty entrepreneurs.

With Selfnamed things are very simple. Things happen online, a full self-service – choose a formula and customise the packaging with your branding, and order any amount you feel comfortable with or simply connect your online store and we will fulfil the order automatically.

If you have a brand (design ID), then the launch can be done in a few days – no more enterprise level game rules.

Selfnamed is a platform that empowers skincare enthusiasts and professionals around the world to become successful beauty business entrepreneurs. Recognizing the challenges faced by small and mid-sized businesses in the traditional private label industry, we set out to create a more accessible and inclusive solution.

The conventional private label world is tailored for large enterprises, characterised by high minimum order quantities (MOQs), slow lead times, substantial budgets, and an often inaccessible and outdated system. This environment leaves little room for smaller businesses, which may lack the resources and expertise to compete effectively.

As a team of seasoned experts from the skincare and marketing sectors, we felt compelled to address this gap. We developed Selfnamed as a comprehensive platform designed to support and nurture clean beauty entrepreneurs. Our platform offers a seamless online experience, enabling users to select a formula, personalise packaging with their branding, and order quantities that align with their needs and budget. We also offer the option to connect an online store for automatic order fulfilment.

At Selfnamed, we believe that launching a beauty brand should be an attainable goal for anyone with a vision and passion. With our platform, brand creation can be achieved in just a few days, eliminating the need for adherence to enterprise-level rules and constraints. I think several things. First is the way we approach things – we really do care about helping the little guy, and we really do care to deliver the best possible product both for the skin and for the environment. We do not cut corners when it comes to sustainability.

Second is the know-how of the industry. Our team involves people with 15+ years of experience in launching clean beauty products and brands. We have R&D, manufacturing, packaging sourcing, and of course marketing experts in our team with the highest standards.

And third but not least is the innovation edge. Every day we wake up and think – about how we can make the lead time shorter and product selection wider. We explore every point on the customer journey when it comes to launching your skincare brand and we are trying to fix the issues our users are experiencing in that journey.

How has Selfnamed evolved over the last couple of years?


We are not that old yet 🙂 We started our platform in March 2022 and have been testing the water with thousands of Beta users till recently when we came out of test – full consumer launch is imminent. We have now evolved to a fully automated clean skincare process. You can choose from more than 75 products, and many packaging options, easily upload your design, preview it on mockups, and with a few clicks add your product portfolio to your Shopify or WooCommerce store when the orders come in – we fulfill it automatically by printing it and sending it to your customer.

We are still a very young company and we have many things in the pipeline but the first year was highly dynamic and we have built a lot of good stuff.

Selfnamed may be a relatively young company, having launched our platform in March 2022, but we have already achieved significant growth and development in a short period of time.

Our journey began with a vision to create a platform that would empower aspiring beauty entrepreneurs, and we have since evolved into a fully automated clean skincare process.

Today, our platform offers a diverse selection of over 75 products, along with a wide range of packaging options. Users can effortlessly upload their designs, preview them on mockups, and integrate their product portfolios with Shopify or WooCommerce stores. When orders are placed, we handle the process automatically, printing and shipping the products directly to the customer.

Despite being in our early stages, we’ve experienced a highly dynamic first year, marked by the development and implementation of numerous innovative features. We’re excited about the future and have many plans in the pipeline to further enhance our platform and services. Ultimately, our commitment to supporting clean beauty entrepreneurs remains at the forefront of our mission, and we look forward to continuing our journey of growth and evolution.


What can we hope to see from Selfnamed in the future?


Our vision is to create a new-age digital skincare creation playground, available to all.

We want to become the first one-stop platform for creating and supporting clean beauty businesses. From choosing formula, fragrance, packaging, and print style to different design ideas – we want skincare entrepreneurs to have hundreds of options on how to create their own products and branding.

Our overall goal is that the owner of the brand needs to spend their time and energy only on marketing and sales, not the sourcing of packaging, or manufacturer of formulas.

We have very high standards when it comes to manufacturing formulas and sourcing packaging, our team involves leading experts in these areas. We also think that our 15+ years of brand-building know-how helps us to understand how the market reacts to different product and design choices made by brand owners.

And, yes, we want to share all of this expertise with anyone who wants it and in doing so help them to cut the lead time from many months (this is what it usually takes to launch products) to possibly days so they can start to focus on their customer, branding, and earning that extra buck.

We envision a future where we serve as a digital playground for skincare creation, accessible to all, and our ambition is to become the premier one-stop platform for establishing and nurturing clean beauty businesses. We aim to provide skincare entrepreneurs with a comprehensive suite of options for creating their own products and branding, encompassing everything from formula selection, fragrance, packaging, and print style to diverse design ideas.
