Tell us about Trustfull


Trustfull is a digital risk decisioning platform that verifies customers before granting access to an online product or service. The platform evaluates digital risks based on an analysis of primary digital footprints: phone number, email address, IP address, device, and browser. Trustfull passively assesses hundreds of these digital signals, and by harnessing the power of AI and machine learning, helps enterprises reinforce risk assessment processes, block suspicious transaction attempts, and increase approval rates.

This holistic risk analysis enables businesses to make informed decisions and maintain a secure digital landscape, safeguarding customer accounts and transactions in an era of ever-evolving fraud. It’s safe to say Trustfull is an essential first line of defence against fraud and financial crime.





What do you think makes this company unique?


Many businesses find themselves at risk from hard-to-spot and highly sophisticated fraud carried out by what may look like genuine customers — Trustfull was born from this fast-growing vulnerability.

We’re unique because our solution complements and supports secure growth in both regulated industries, such as payments and financial institutions, as well as non-regulated industries that have a need to verify users, such as travel, igaming, and P2P marketplaces. The silent checks we perform are fully GDPR compliant, meaning we’re future proofing these additional security protocols.

Further to this versatility, our solution manages to enhance security with no friction or user interruption, getting the safest customers through faster.

How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?

We set up Trustfull in 2020, and in that first year processed over three million queries and closed agreements with important customers. We’ve raised €6.6 million from key investors and recruited major C-Suite level talent to drive our international expansion.

With a strong foundation, Trustfull rebranded in September 2023 (formerly Fido) and is poised to manage risk and lead the charge on creating safe digital experiences. I’m proud of the fact that we’ve achieved this sustainable growth by maintaining a lean operation.


What can we hope to see from Trustfull in the future?


Our aim is to become the gold standard in ensuring safer digital experiences.

Thanks to the European Data Act we will witness a surge in the availability of crucial data that was once shrouded in secrecy by Big Tech. This groundbreaking legislation empowers individuals with greater control over their personal information while setting a clear framework for companies to operate within. As a result, we will have access to a wealth of insights that were previously held behind closed doors. This newfound transparency paves the way for more informed decision-making across various industries.

The European Data Act represents a pivotal moment in the digital landscape, setting a global benchmark for responsible data handling and catalysing innovation in ways we are only beginning to comprehend.

Against the backdrop of a more sustainable data economy and a global digital identity management solutions market that is projected to reach $70.8 billion by 2030, I believe there’s scope for Trustfull to become a trusted player in shaping the future of digital identity and risk management.
