Tell us about Dex.
Dex is a sales engagement platform that leverages AI to make selling smarter, faster, and more effective. Our mission is simple: to help sales professionals connect better with prospects by turning emails into personalized, trackable mini-websites.
Think of it as giving every sales email a superpower—providing insights like who’s viewing, what they’re clicking on, and whether they’re sharing it internally. It’s all about empowering sales reps and their prospects to collaborate more effectively.

How did you come up with the idea for Dex, and what makes it unique?
The idea started when I was working as an enterprise sales rep and constantly thinking about how AI could improve my workflow—especially the parts I dreaded, like building custom pitch decks for deals that often went ignored. The stats confirmed my frustration: Salesforce data shows that reps spend two-thirds of their time on non-revenue-generating activities, which is why only 50% hit their quota.
We initially called it “Pitch Dex.ai” and focused on creating custom presentations, but it’s since evolved into something bigger. What sets Dex apart is its simplicity and universality: every professional, no matter their role, sends emails. Dex takes that familiar process and transforms it. By converting emails into interactive, tailored experiences and providing real-time engagement insights, we’re bridging the gap between sales reps and their prospects. We’ve essentially made the CRM public-facing to help deals move faster.

What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs?
Keep going. Your first idea probably won’t be the one that takes off, and that’s okay. The key is to stay resilient, keep iterating, and never stop learning. Every setback is just a step toward the version of your idea that will work.
What excites you most about Dex?
I’m most excited about how Dex saves time and drives efficiency. We’re tackling the boring, repetitive admin work that no one enjoys and giving sales professionals the freedom to focus on what they do best—building relationships, delivering value, and closing deals. Seeing the impact Dex has on people’s daily workflows is incredibly rewarding.
How has Dex evolved over the past few years?
What started as a tool to create presentations has grown into a full-fledged sales hub. Dex now offers advanced analytics, seamless personalization, and efficiency tools designed to make sales reps the best versions of themselves. It’s not just about saving time anymore; it’s about fundamentally transforming how sales happen.
What’s next for Dex?
We see Dex as the future of online selling. Right now, AI-powered SDRs have flooded inboxes with generic, spammy messages, damaging credibility and tanking open rates. Dex is bringing the human element back to sales—combining personalization with automation to build trust and drive results. Looking ahead, we’re doubling down on innovation to make sales more collaborative, transparent, and human.
