What makes Miradore unique?

 
At Miradore, our vision is to take the IT industry by storm with our SaaS product. Our MDM platform is more than just a seamless way for companies to manage their devices. Ultimately, we want to help our customers create more secure, flexible, and productive work environments.

Despite softened COVID safety guidelines from the CDC, many economists and business leaders believe that hybrid work is here to stay. The surge in remote work and hybrid work has been a challenge for almost all organizations, especially SMBs. While the increased flexibility is prized by many employees, it can leave employers more exposed to data breaches and technology failures. We’re committed to solving the challenges of SMBs who often don’t have in-house IT support. We want to give them peace of mind when it comes to their devices and give more time back to leaders and employees so that they can do what they really love. How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?

 
Miradore was founded back in 2006. Our first product was an on-premises device management solution. As a response to the growing trend of using mobile devices for work, we launched our cloud-based MDM solution in 2014.

As the use of mobile devices for work has increased throughout the years, so has our customer base. However, during the past few years, the growth has been even stronger as we’ve seen many companies implementing MDM for the first time due to COVID restrictions. Companies were forced to quickly the problem; how to keep track of their organization’s devices and manage the devices outside of the corporate network.

To support this growth, we’ve also recruited a lot of new, talented people. And most recently, we joined forces with GoTo, an all-in-one business, communications, and IT support and management platform. GoTo’s acquisition of Miradore officially closed in September, and I’m thrilled to see how this partnership will evolve as it brings our customers forward in our vision to help SMBs lead the future of work movement.

Today, we have 89,000 user accounts in 180 countries and over 2,700 customers in more than 100 countries with over 900,000 devices managed. We work with a wide variety of company scales including SMBs and Managed Service Providers, from various industries such as healthcare, logistics, professional services, education, non-profits, and government organizations.
 

What can we hope to see from Miradore in the future?

 
The integration with GoTo will be one of the biggest things in the future. Once Miradore is integrated into GoTo Resolve, which we expect will happen in the first half of 2023, our customers will have a more seamless IT management experience, which means:

  • Streamlined IT support: Extended device management capabilities for all devices on supported platforms like PCs, Macs, iOS and Android mobile devices, Chromebooks, and tablets.
  • Secure company-issued and BYOD device: GoTo has best-in-class, enterprise-grade encryption and zero trust architecture, which we complement with our security features, including lockdown and control of devices to limit the risk of data exposure.
  • One tool for different tasks and devices: GoTo’s best-in-class remote support, desktop management, and Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) capabilities combined with Miradore’s powerful MDM capabilities.

At the same time, we’re continuously developing Miradore and its features to meet the needs of today’s organizations. We are currently focused on improving our platform’s user interface, strengthening our Apple management capabilities, and developing features to support different uses of mobile devices.
