Interview With Raman Alsheuski, VP of Product at AIBY

AIBY is a leading American co-founding company that builds, acquires, and operates consumer apps and gaming businesses on a global scale. The company has a diverse portfolio with over 2.5 billion downloads, and in 2024, was recognised among the Top Publishers in the US, according to data.ai.

Recently, we at AIBY launched EpicScale, a new publishing company focused on empowering app creators by providing comprehensive marketing and operational support. EpicScale offers expertise in key areas, including user acquisition, ASO, BI, monetisation, and creative production.

Additionally, it provides funding and may assist developers with the key steps they need to take to ensure a product meets applicable store requirements and policies.

What Do You Think Makes This Company Unique?

EpicScale’s uniqueness stems from AIBY’s deep industry expertise and proven track record.

Our apps are not only popular in terms of downloads but have also earned prestigious accolades at international events such as the People’s Choice awards at the Webby Awards. This strong foundation enables EpicScale to apply the same standards in product growth and marketing to help partner apps achieve sustainable progress.

What Is Your Advice To Aspiring Entrepreneurs and Startup Founders?

Building a product is a thrilling but challenging journey. Here are a few principles that I believe can make a real difference:

  • Focus on the user. Success in mobile apps hinges on deeply understanding your audience’s needs. Study user behavior, gather feedback, and continuously improve your product to solve real problems
  • Start small, think big. Concentrate on creating an MVP to quickly test your idea in the market. But always keep a long-term vision and scalability in mind
  • Build a strong team. Surround yourself with people who share your vision and have the right skills. In a startup, every team member should be ready to take ownership and deliver results
  • Find a partner to fill your gaps. Identify a co-founder or partner whose strengths complement your skill set. If you’re strong in product development but lack marketing expertise, for example, find someone who can cover those gaps effectively

What Most Excites You About Epicscale?

We’re excited about collaborating with teams and solo developers who bring interesting technical expertise. By combining their innovative product vision with our experience in marketing, analytics, and growth strategy, we create a synergy capable of building impactful products together.

How Has The Company Evolved Since Its Launch?

Since launching EpicScale, we’ve already seen success with projects like the RemoTV app. In this case, we identified a clear market opportunity in a niche dominated by just three apps. RemoTV delivered strong user value and broad mass-market appeal, making it a promising candidate for growth. So we decided to pursue this opportunity.

Over the course of a year, we grew the product’s revenue to $400,000 per month. Now we realise we weren’t the only ones to notice this opportunity, as new competitors soon emerged and the market has continued to grow.

What Can We Hope To See From Epicscale?

EpicScale is dedicated to building long-term partnerships with non-gaming mobile projects across diverse categories, including productivity, education, lifestyle, wellness, and health. By focusing on high-potential products and helping them scale globally, we aim to bring more outstanding apps to market that make a difference in people’s lives.
