Established in 2005, Evolve Business Group exists to simplify the running of our customers’ businesses by providing end-to-end Managed Network Solutions and bespoke packages for the global networks of Retail, Hospitality, Quick Serve Restaurants, Franchises and Fuel Forecourts. 

Our specialists are driven by one purpose: Making Business Grade Internet Connectivity Simple. We save our customers money and address their pain points through our suite of network technologies, encompassing Business Grade Internet Connectivity, SD-WAN, Guest Wi-Fi and IT support.

We are renowned for leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide enterprise-grade solutions that are reliable, secure, and easy to use, and for prioritising security. Our PCI DSS certified solution is level 1 certified, we are part of the Cyber Essentials Scheme, and we are ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified. 

 

 

 

What do you think makes this company unique?

 

Initially, Evolve was created to serve the franchise sector, which was being neglected by incumbent technologies. Over the years we’ve gradually branched out into numerous other sectors and found common problems that affect all industries. 

At Evolve, we simplify business connectivity, providing seamless internet and communication services with clear, transparent pricing. Our solutions effectively address common business challenges, such as data management, network infrastructure issues, and integration complexities – all of which contribute to costly downtime. By leveraging cutting-edge network infrastructure, we not only enhance operational efficiency but also help our customers save money while staying ahead in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

 

 

What is your advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?

 

Make sure you do your research. Any young business is sure to encounter obstacles that could derail your plans, but success comes from both preparation and the courage to be bold. Thorough research helps you anticipate challenges and make informed decisions, but it’s the willingness to take risks and act decisively that truly drives growth. Embracing boldness, alongside careful planning, lays a strong foundation for long-term success.

 

What most excites you about Evolve?

 

There’s a lot to be excited about at Evolve! I strongly believe that Evolve has rocked the status quo and created a suite of innovative solutions that provide benefits that are unrivalled in the industry. 

But what truly sets us apart and excites me every day is our culture of collaboration. I believe this inclusive environment fuels creativity and innovation, allowing us to develop solutions that genuinely address our customers’ needs. It’s great to see how this dedication, combined with our collaborative spirit, enhances our offerings and solidifies our position as leaders in managed network solutions.

We’re also growing, which is always a cause for excitement. Our recent warehouse expansion is a significant milestone that enables us to scale our operations and enhance service delivery, ensuring we meet our customers’ growing demands efficiently. 

 

How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?

 

It’s been an incredible couple of years in terms of growth. Most recently, we announced a multi-million-pound investment from BGF, one of the largest and most experienced growth capital investors in the UK and Ireland.

The BGF portfolio includes both Purple and Evolve. Because the two businesses share similar goals and principles, Evolve now collaborates with Purple, which benefits from our extensive knowledge to provide both new and returning customers the best guest Wi-Fi experience in the business. 

We’ve also partnered with Evolve IP to increase operational productivity, business efficiency, revenue opportunities, and scalability in the more than 50 countries that Evolve IP serves.

We’ve certainly come a long way since launching EvolveIT, creating an IT services powerhouse in Lancashire that was created after we acquired a Preston-based IT firm. It now has a team of more than 60 talented professionals that work across our organisation in conjunction with our other services. 

 

What can we hope to see from Evolve in the future?

 

Last year’s funding from BGF has enabled us to accelerate our ambitious expansion plans within the UK. We are focusing on strengthening our presence in existing markets, broadening our reach, and bringing our expertise to more businesses across the country. By building on our success in key sectors, we aim to drive further growth and deliver even greater value to our customers.

Ultimately, our aim is to be the leading managed network provider, and we will continue to work towards this goal by delivering the innovative solutions, exceptional customer service, and robust network security we’re known for.
