Founded by entrepreneur Antony Vallee, Teamed launched in 2020 to democratise employment and help make it easy for businesses to hire, pay and take care of their remote workforces. By handling local regulations, payroll, benefits and onboarding, Teamed allows companies to hire talent based on merit, not location, overcoming skill shortages and capability gaps to build high-performing, diverse teams cost-effectively and at scale.

Last year (2022) the startup announced a £2.5 million seed round, led by the investment group Blackfinch alongside Nexus Investments and 1818 Venture Capital.

Teamed is a service-led platform, which takes the hard work out of compliantly employing talent from anywhere in the world. By managing human resources, compliance, and payroll, Teamed allows businesses to recruit efficiently from countries where they do not have a physical or legal presence.
