Having worked for both large accountancy firms and managed small businesses I have seen first-hand how tech solutions can help and hinder companies. Many universal tech solutions, especially in the accounting and finance sector, have built platforms that are used universally but offer little tailoring or personalisation and for many businesses especially smaller ones, the interfaces or solutions aren’t that intuitive or helpful.

This lack of tailoring and personalisation led me on a journey to develop a solution that was truly universal and in 2003 we launched ExpenseOnDemand. We are continually developing our market-leading solution and allow our clients to handpick from our extensive range of functions meaning they can tailor the service to their specific requirements and only pay for the parts they use.

How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?

Since the start of the pandemic, we have worked hard to update our solution and ensure it is easier for businesses to manage hybrid workers as more employees work from home, the office and with clients.
