Leading UK business services provider Capita plc is teaming up with tech analyst firm TechMarketView to find innovative startups and scaleups to revolutionise the Future of Workplace Learning.
This is the third time that Capita’s corporate venturing unit, Capita Scaling Partner, has worked with TechMarketView’s Innovation Partner Programme, which is helping some of the UK’s leading enterprise software and services companies find innovative startups and scaleups as potential partners.
Selected businesses will be given the opportunity to pitch to Capita Scaling Partner and gain access to Capita’s network of 9,000 clients and 8,000 suppliers, plus receive the dedicated support of business development experts to sell your product or service at scale.
Digital skills struggle
The global market for learning technologies is expected to reach over £300 billion by 2025. In all sectors people are having to learn new skills and apply themselves to new tasks quicker than ever before. Corporates and governments are struggling to access the digital skills they need, and companies that struggle to adapt are losing out to more nimble competitors. In the UK alone, skills shortages are estimated to be costing the economy over £6bn per year!
As Capita affirmed at their recent TED Workshop on Sparking Curiosity, “we’re living longer, working smarter and feeling more interconnected than ever before…with the world at our fingertips, how do we sustain lifelong learning, and how will the future of education and work evolve as a result?”
“We’re delighted to be working with the Capita Scaling Partner team once again,” said TechMarketView Cofounder and Managing Partner Anthony Miller. “The previous programmes we ran for Capita were highly successful and introduced the company to many exciting and promising potential partners.”
Anna Fairhurst, Head of Origination at Capita Scaling Partner says, “as a market leader in HR services, Capita is perfectly placed to help start-ups bring the latest workplace innovation to clients across a host of sectors. In Capita Scaling Partner, we not only make introductions to decision makers in hundreds of client organisations, but we also provide the expertise and commercial know-how that can turbo-charge growth for start-ups and scale-ups. We can’t wait to meet the disruptors of the workplace through our latest Innovation Partner Programme with TechMarketView.”
Passionate about startups
TechMarketView and Capita Scaling Partner are passionate about supporting UK startups and scaleups. “We have raised the profile of hundreds of young companies in the marketplace and helped them meet prospective partners and investors through programmes like Little British Battlers, Great British Scaleups and the TechMarketView Innovation Partner Programme,” Miller added.
Startups and scaleups with innovative solutions addressing the Future of Workplace Learning should apply to attend a pitch session being held at Capita’s headquarters on Wednesday 6th November 2019. Applications close on Friday 4th October.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for young UK tech firms to turbocharge their growth in national and international markets”, says Miller, “and a proven way for enterprise tech firms to bring innovation to their customer’s table”.
